Suggestions/Comments: Current behavior: open chat dialog prompt. swap chat type to Whisper. Shift click inventory item to create item link in whisper chat. Swap whisper chat prompt channel to Alliance. Unless this workaround with Whisper first is performed, you cannot shift+click link an item into alliance chat. 

Desired behavior: just let item linking work in alliance chat without the whisper workaround  

This doesn't sound like the most important bug in the world (and I know it's not *that* high priority.) But please PA, please look into this!
