Crystal breakage was always an annoying and crude death penalty mechanic from the very early days of the game. Now it's just ludicrous and actually harming the game. As more high-end spots are created, fewer and fewer players will ever experience them. Crystal breaking has to go.

Not to mention the logic of it never made any sense at all

Find other uses for crystals if there is an over-suppy issue; though crystal market is broken as heck anyway

Absolutely bad suggestion, leading fail of crystal prices, and alchemy earning from it with death of alchemy.

But some things have to change anyway, even if it breaks some business niches. Crystal loss hinders owpvp, and even without owpvp, losing a crystal because of a bad connection is not a good experience. 

That's a good suggestion overall, yet several tweaks have to be done at the same time. Crystals should NEVER break, permanent penalties are not a good idea in a game in which equipment can be highly costly.

in my opinon make them higher price for crystals but let us buy them from vendors and make them unbreakable, speaking about spikes and lags even if i am runnig siege specs even i am in recomended specs still got spikes, desync and lag , please do something abt this

Game is significantly more enjoyable this way. If the market is a concern then there's ways PA can address that in the future but the event now should stay indefinitely.

Been try to ask PA remove that system for years and years, but no idea why they never talk or explain why.

There is a lot good and bad way if that system remove but most common they think this will crash the crystal market, so why don't make all crystal have durability on it, every time you die your crystal durability take hit until it break, need to buy same one to repair.

Or they can use the crystal to help revive alchemy stone, they are in the dead zone right now. 

Still without that system they can freely bring more harder content to game, Dehkia content is good because they some challenges, that is what endgame content should be, but after that event is over it will be other dead zone for sure.

Hard agree. I was literally thinking the same thing earlier today. Simply removing the shatter mechanic permenantly is a band-aid fix and I don't think it is the best option here.

Replacing the shatter mechanic with durability replenished by crystals of the same type ticks all the boxes in my opinion. It doesn't remove the punishment for dying but it softens the blow and removes some of the randomness, which I think is the real problem here. I feel that dying should come with some penalty other than XP loss (which is negated most of the time anyway) but it should be more consistent and overall lest costly/painful compared to our current system of praying your Girin's doesn't boom.

By using crystals of the same type to repair, it keeps the demand for crystals on the market and it also gives PA some numbers to tune in terms of durability lost on death and how much is gained by repairing. Big fan of this crystal durability concept.

If I can suggest a deal about crystals break, it could be to link this to Elion's Tear.
If you revive with Elion's Tear, crystals must not break like you do not loose exp too. Then if you choose to revive without, you get a chance to loose your crystals so it's up to you to decide about the 100pearls cost of the item.
It could be a deal between players and PA shop, just suggesting something that could arrange both.

Or then maybe find a compromise to combine this idea with the idea of the post upside with crystal durability example, wich is a very good suggestion too to keep the crystals market on a good balance.
