Came back after years and it seems like the only life skill worth doing is snipe hunting. Grinding is so much money and life skills have been nerfed it sounds like it doesn't even make sense to life skill. I've been bartering and hunting but was curious if there's any hints of life skill buffs coming up 

We dont really ever have info about upcoming changes, other than what gets announced at the Ball events / Late Night streams in Korea. And there was no talk about changing the income of lifeskills in either of them for a while, only improvements to QoL from what I remember.

Your best bet is checking the Glabs posts every friday at 8 UTC, for any new updates regarding lifeskills.

You are doing life-skilling wrong tho, especially if you're complaining that it's not min-maxed compared to an activity that requires 100% attention to pull the ~"double the money" you claim it does.

Currently, no serious changes in lifeskill income are planned. The biggest change should be family-wide lifeskills, but this will not impact potential income. So - your best bet is trying to do what I do with lifeskills - do them for fun. Trying to minmax here is pointless. You have no other good way to make more silver than grinding.

Life skilling is fine, and it is constantly improved slightly to be about 1/2 of active grinding.  Life skilling due to it's sheer safety should never be more than 50% of grinding.

lifeskilling is just not "now i gonna lifeskill for 1h" its a job on itself. thats what makes it look like you do little money

Take a break 6 more months, they announced lifeskill changes at the end of summer.

I'm also thinking of taking a break till  we  get meaningful changes. Lifeskilling hasn't changed at  all over the last 2-3 years. No love for lifeskills from  PA....

lifeskill is very much worth lol   

that being said, some individual lifeksills definitely need changes/buffs but there is a lot of money to be made by others
