As I am playing my alt, if I didn't apply any crystal and I die, will other transfused crystals break?

if you have no applied crystals, no crystals will break. So if you are playing an alt with low gear, I recommend simply not using any crystals to not risk them.

I have two "alt" crystal presets: one for XP that just cheeses XP crystals, and one for DR that cheeses affordable DR crystals. The expensive presets are forbidden to my alts LOL
