After having to enhance an artina to pen and buy 10k caphras for upgrading it with blackstar monster damage while i actually have a pen blackstar in my main character, im gonna attend the boycot for some time, not join any pve group or pvp content with this class.

The tag system has no sense at all. Shai awk weapon should be like any other class weapon, specially now since u can play music with any character without the need of having an artina equipped

This. This is the entire issue with Shai. If we aren't buffing other classes in large scale or group grind spots, we are considered irrelevant.

People say we shouldn't complain because our buffs "give us the equivalent of actual gearscore" but they clearly don't understand that Shai without the buffs absolutely cannot compete with any other unbuffed class in the game. Period. Our base stats are so low, our attack speed so slow, our modifiers so screwy that it takes all of those buffs, plus our E buff, PLUS our Florin Leaf buff to come remotely close to other classes in grind spots (forget PvP because we just don't do damage like other classes can *I'm looking at you archers*).

This is most prominent in Shai, but as the person I'm agreeing with also stated, it is not JUST Shai. Awakened Kuno is laughable at best in PvE AND PvP. At least Shai in PvP can DP meme and fire off debuffs and buffs and be useful. Succ Nova is not even a class. For anything. It just can't when anything (even Kuno) can. I am not sure about succ valk though... I've seen some crazy nonsense when it comes to valks of either variety.

i think you are lacking critical information

the only thing shai really struggels with is 1v1s and most if not all pve content is playable without any issues 
and there have always been better and worse classes in certain grindspots.

cyclops is basically designed for shai, gyfin is more than playable and even low spots like kagtums are doable with stamina artifacts
and on top of that she is relatively low apm 

and i dont think we need a shai rework, we could add more supportive pvp classes and/or buff shai duelling power just leave her be 

You're the one lacking the critical information man. Just read the original post and the comments. Buffing every 60s, gatekeeping sol, buffs too powerful, slow movement, barely any skills, etc. there are so many issues I bet you aren't even aware of. You probably barely play the class tbh

I been playing shai for many years and tend to always rotate to support based classes in mmos

*please note there is alot to be said and i have missed aspects instead of writing an extended novel but i summate my general consensus across*

I love the class been playing it pretty much every day and actually enjoy having to apply buffs regularly as it gives me more support orientated requirements.

Rework buff length

I'd agrue reworking buffs to last 10minutes would devalue a key part of her playstyle as its often implemented into her rotation.

buff solo shai

solo shai leaves alot to be desired but she is fundementally a support class and getting -10-20% trash than dps classes at spots like gyfin, darkseekers, cyclops is a massive win! with currently tower spots/tanky mobs being a focus in development i think the future for her solo also seems pretty bright. also her effectiveness in dark shrine should not be overlooked for her potiential to do well in solo future content.

Healing

Her healing is really strong with access to 2 really reliable big heals *depending on correct positioning, and comparing that to other healing classes such as valk and witch it seems balanced and pretty strong. can already save people and completely turn the tides in pve and pvp

PvP and Accessability

In pvp the main issue we are facing imo is to do with when there is a shai absent on a team or the team is missing the shai buffs which may be an accessibility issue but with the new pity system and potientially a fallen god sol maybe we will start seeing more passionate shais appearing that enjoy the current state of shai and take her issues more as something that can be overcome with good class knowledge and plays than needing a complete rehaul.

I wanted to leave a positive post cuz i am currently really enjoying the class and have done for a long time and the idea of a rework or overhaul does not sound appealing to me.

this being said pls buff shai so that we do 2x more trash than other classes solo and can be played as a dps in pvp cuz it would be funny.

Yeah I barely play the class copege. What makes you think that I barely play Shai? My level? xdd Ask PA to buff oluns exp then. Gatekeeping sol? We have guaranteed enhancements now. Slow movement? I was able to prepull oluns mobs at 90+ golems/h + most spots are stationary. If you mean pvp for slow movement I'll agree but does Shai need fast movement? Buffs too powerful? So why complain... seems like if you play shai and disagree with needing a rebalance you dont play shai according to this thread.

What makes me think you barely play shai was the content of your post and my general feeling I got from reading it not your level. Level has nothing to do with it since levels mean almost nothing in BDO (that is a red flag that shows you don't know what youre talking about) being able to prepull 90+ doesn't mean anything, I can pull 100 golem rotations, the class is slower in general than other classes when trying to move to the next golem. Gatekeeping sol? How about you try to tag your black star sol to another shai, oh there's no black star sol? Oh you can't even tag a sol from on shai to another? Hmmmm but guaranteed enhancement is totally the fix. Totally. Buffs are too OP for others and ruins PvP and not to mention how much misty haze breaks the game (they've had to make a bunch of changes to dehkia oluns because of it). Having OP buffs that mainly help others and need to constantly rebuffing is not a "price we have to pay". It's just PA treating shai as it's own thing which it shouldn't and just make the class more inline with the rest of the game. I'm 745gs Btw, I think youre probably the gearlet here

There are a lot of people out there who will say things about the class who know nothing about what they're talking about on a class that they tag on sometimes for oluns or war and only gets a slice of the picture. It's just frustrating when a bunch want change but a few are resistant
