Video: Black Desert Quick Guide - Kzarka or Offin? Which Should You Choose?

After you start your journey in Black Desert world and have learned the basics of the game, it’s time to become more powerful using boss equipment, but at this moment, you notice two different main weapons to choose, “Kzarka” or “Offin Tett's”, each of them being with your own differences in Ability Power (PA) and accuracy, giving you a lot of doubt as to which is the best option.

So, what is the best weapon?

Focus on damage or accuracy?

The best answers to those questions are: “It depends on the way you play and as determined to keep playing”!

[PVE PLAYERS]

If you like to take a walk in the city streets, see how wonderful the world is, ride a horse, go fishing, help your friends with hard tasks, hunting monsters or killing some bosses, the best option for you is “Offin Tett's”, and don’t worry about the accuracy, because the monster’s evasion is smaller than that of other players, and you have the possibility to use determinate crystals in “transfusion” to get the perfect balance between damage and accuracy.

A good crystal to don’t let aside for Offin Tett's is the “Glorious Crystal of Gallantry - Ah'krad”, that crystal gives to you the following effects:

• All Accuracy +3
• Extra Damage to Monsters +7
• Attack/Casting Speed +1%

But don’t stay stuck on only these recommendations; you have the freedom to see and choose others excellent crystals in the game to arrive at your ideal accuracy and damage.

[PVP PLAYERS]

If you like an intense action like a wagon robbery, GVG, PVP contents, but on your day off you prefer hunting some monsters to make more silvers, the best weapon for you is “Kzarka”. In PVP giving damage to your enemies is important, but the evasions from other players can vary, and the best form to “break” this is to have a little more accuracy than normal.

But don’t think the Kzarka is a magical weapon to deal with your enemies, the PVP content, are a lot of complex and go much further between damage, accuracy and right equipment’s.

[UNDECIDED]

But if you are undecided yet, the better weapon is “Kzarka”, because that is the easiest boss weapon to obtain, and you can use it ultil deciding if you're going to make PVP or PVE, I just don’t recommend you put Kzarka in PEN at this moment to avoid losing much enhancement resources, and if in the end, you decide to fallow your way in PVE, don’t have fear to change your weapon for “Offin Tett's” and start a new enhance. Just don’t forget to sell “Kzarka” weapon in Central Market to receive a good silver quantity and help others adventurer. But in other wise, if you feel love for PVP, you have the right weapon in your hands, so… just continue the enhance to PEN with your “Kzarka”.

So, a quick brief about your primary boss weapon to choose is:

If you wish to get in PVP world, accuracy is the best option, but if you prefer hunting some monster, that’s mean, if it causes more damage, quicker you kill, so… use an “Offin Tett's”.

[SECONDARY WEAPONS]

For secondary weapons, if you are a PVE player, you can choose to do more damage with "Nouver" or have a little more defense with "Kutum", but in PVE, Kutum is the most recommended weapon because depending on where you play, the monsters can be the strongest, but that will depend on the place you are going to hunting in the present or the future.

For PVP, the best secondary weapon has depended on which class you are playing, because every class has its pros and cons, but don't feel stuck about this, since you can make your choice to have the best adaptability in the battlefield.

For the end, when talking about weapons, we can’t let aside other equipment’s like a belt, gloves, armor, ring and earrings, because your defense and ability power also depend on those equipment’s. So, feel free to learn about new game modes, weapons and gear.

I'd have to disagree with you. At the current state of the game, Offin weapons are not a good option for PvP or PvE at all. Going for an Offin will always leave you worse off than instead getting the free TET Mainhand Blackstar weapon you get for reaching level 61 on a season character. A Kzarka weapon can still be a possible option for a PvP only player, when caphrased up to C20 (though blackstar is only marginally worse and is thus still recommended there), but in PvE, blackstar mainhand weapons are simply far superior to both boss weapons.

Offin should not be used by anyone at this point.

As for the offhands, Kutum is better in PvE always with the exception of certain brackets that you can reach with nouver. But you should always get a Kutum anyway, as the free gear from seasons + rewards + journals will take you past these brackets before they really start to matter.
