Why is it so confusing to upgrade boss gear? I have watched over 10 hours of guides and still lost. Ive spent billions and have gotten nowhere. Im returning player and its confusing for me, i know its confusing for newer players. The system is an overall turnoff and honestly might just push me away from grinding so hard as I've gone bankrupt attempting to just take my boss gears from TET to PEN.

Yeah BDO is notorious for overcomplicated and bloated items and systems. They take one simple thing like upgrading gear or fast travelling and make it difficult for no reason at all. 

Gear progression in this game is extremely convoluted. Instead of a universal system of gear levels 1-20, every piece of gear has its own thing, e.g. only 5 levels for some accessories, 25 levels for FG gears, weird x.5 levels between 19 and 20.... oof
