PA the new patch introduced a lot of great changes the game desperately needed. It may not be perfect right now and numbers may still need additional tuning but overall things are going in the right direction. Please don't give in to the people complaining and hating on it immediately. Part of me feels like a lot of the outrage is from people who had a negative outlook from before the patch even launched and had been ready to hate it from the beginning, either consciously or subconsciouly.

Reducing amount of hits? Yeah, it is a good change, while there are some bugs and issues, as long as PA fix them it will benefit everyone.
Going from one extreme(oneshot meta) to another(1v1 being impossible in many cases), just proves that Global Lab is waste of money and PA is skipping on QA and testing completely. Combining terrible NWs change with this... thing, makes AoS the only available PvP content. Wanted to make everyone more tanky? Just multiply max HP everywhere, while reducing % heals accordingly. Or be moderate with the changes, one step at a time. Or test it thoroughly, get bunch of players from every server, ask them to test different PvP/PvE content and check the results. There's been so many ways to do it properly, but ofc J knows better than anyone.
Problem is balancing PvP was at the cost of breaking PvE. PA didn't think that one through.
The same people who are demanding more testing and better balance weren't concerned about either when it benefited them. Evasion was clearly broken but it was fine being untested and improperly balanced for years. Get rekt.
Evasion is not the problem tho. A striker who was op with evasion can now run dr and be op again.
The classes that get fucked by this are the damage dealing non tank classes because Valks, Strikers etc that use a full tank build can do more damage to a DPS class then the DPS class can do to them.
This is just shit balancing.
Tanks should not be able to kill people in 1 combo. But they can. Thats the issue.
Tanks should just be tanks, not dealing damage. If you want to do damage you should be required to sacrifice your tankiness. So if a valk can 1 combo me, i should be able to 1 combo her. If she builds tank items and I can only do 40% damage to her in 1 combo then she should also only do 40% damage to me in 1 combo because clearly she has opted into tanky items.
And this patch just emplifies the problems with the new NW system as now it becomes even easier to just push down forts last minute as you wont be killed as fast anymore.
So yeah L Patch PA. YOu clearly do not understand how the individual patches and systems you intoduce interact with each other. No idea what the fuck you guys are doing in KR but probably not actively and competitively playing your own game otherwise you would be more aware of this shit.
Exactly as the OP say. BDO devs should absolutely stop listening to some of the crybabies. I want to play a game that is designed and balanced by Devs, not by crababies, that change their mind every 2 days.
The game become stale because of all the people that constantly cry. And instead of Developer focusing on improving the game and adds depth and new content, they are forced to constantly rework and rebalance stuff that they should not put attention, as there is always someone to cry about.
They should just use their numbers and knowledge, instead of listening to biased people that are always going to find something to cry.
The one shot meta was disgraceful and no wanted to play that s****. Majority of the base i PVE players. Focus on this aspect, and the long TTK is a good thing, and actually reward skill, not spamming and jumping out of nowhere in the Open World, where someone is grinding peacefully.
I return to the game, based on the new patch and i hope they continue follow this path and ignore the crying, as there always going to be cry from the very miniority.

Many people said it, but again: it's not just about 'one shot meta'. Now it's 'cannot kill tank's meta, while said tanks can kill you. This patch did two things:
- Made full AP classes obsolete (with or without grab). Simply cannot kill some tanks even if several players attack
- Deepened gear disparity. Before this patch someone with 710GS could try uncapped endgame PvP. Now there's no point because hardcap players can get both damage AND enough DR to dominate everyone.
There's no 1v1 in this meta, no glass cannon classes and no place for anyone with less gear than hardcap.
