The playtime for your family is shown when you open the P menu on any char. It is the time in days expressed next to your char profile picture (with the clock icon). The playtime for an individual character is also shown in the P window, but on a different tab. You have to go to the History tab and hover over the "My Playtime" text to get the info displayed.
