This is literally the only game in my library I can't play on linux and it's one of my favorite games (which still isn't enough to make me go back to winblows after years of not playing BDO).  PA open the door for many to return and be a part of the adventure again.  Will buy pearls.

Nice thought, hope they'll listen to this but we need more to participate.

The worst part, to me, is that the game has been proven to run perfectly under Proton (or at least as good as it does on Windows). People have done EAC bypasses and run the game just fine (until they got banned), and private BDO servers that use the same client but with EAC disabled run great.

All PearlAbyss would have to do would be to enable the Proton EAC module and it would run fine. It's not like we're expecting a native release, or even dedicated support. We just want to at least *attempt* to run the game.

welp, ended up resubbing ff14. hopefully it'll be fixed by next year :v

Come on PA, help us out. Just enable EAC support and the community will figure the rest out.

This is awesome news! It really shows that it's just the EAC hurdle to overcome, and it's an incredibly simple change to implement.

PA please I love you and it's killing me. <3 Let's tick that box for EAC on Linux! I just wanna play on my comfy setup.
