I've deleted characters before. I've been playing since the game launched and after the first season, I deleted the sorc I had made for it because at the time we didn't have skill presets and I wanted a succession sorc as well as an awakening sorc.
Then right after the season, they added skill presets and she wasn't needed anymore.
So I deleted her. And all the quests she had done were removed from the quest count towards Rulupee's Journal.
I've redone a wizard and a maewha for seasons since, but both characters hadn't done that many quests, so I took the loss. But now all my remaining characters have done significant questing and I'm not willing to do it again.

As many of you are aware, for the 2022 Autumn Season, there haven't been any changes to the maximum number of character slots. As we mentioned during the July 27 patch notes there are currently no plans to increase beyond 28 characters. This is for us to maintain the optimum backend systems to allow character information to be pulled and used in the most optimal manner.
We understand your frustrations, especially when it comes to wanting to play the new season without having the inconvenience of losing a current character. While it is difficult to expand the maximum number of slots at this time, we will continue to work on providing alternatives that we can offer you in the long run.

Thanks for the optimization. the storage's magnus seem to have a bit latency when first login everyday, it should be async, and lazy loading, because it hang awhile sometimes
- Please do a long term test for above as PA could launch character until 40-50 characters? I would suggest PA to sell 30 character slot (equivalence to every classes launch), + 10-30 premium character slot, that cost 2x of normal character slot. Upselling for people would want to have 2x Character slot (like 1 lv61 maegu, shai, and 1 lv49 shai, lv49 maegu
