I wanna start my topic saying to please read to the end to understand my point and see if what i say make any sense to your reality.

Well, first I'm from Brazil and used to play at SA servers, but I recently moved to Portugal to start a new life, and something that really shock me was the prices of everthing on the Pearl shop.

I could talk about every item, but the principal point of this topic is the Value pack...Is ridiculous the price we're paying in Europe compare to SA or NA...In NA is 5 dollars the Value Pack, here is triple. I know that Pearl Abyss probably thought "In Europe we have a lot of country we a better life style and with a minimum wage quite high compare to NA, so let's put a higher value", and this for me is fucked up(sorry for the word). In Portugal we have a minium wage of 600 euros. 

I'm happy to say that have a good financially live here and 15 euros(the price of the Value Pack) is not something that will have such a impact in my life.
But i think they should remake the price of some stuffs on the store to make the game more accessible for some regions.

I wanna see the players opinion and see if my point is something at actually make sense in the community

Your conversion rate might be a little bit off there, it's 15 USD for NA.

Personally, I prefer the prices to be high.

It makes people think more about their expenses.

Whereas when it's $ 5 people don't hesitate to say it, why not another $ 5. and at the end of the month bah $ 200 of $ 5 has been spent.

The low prices are predatory.

Fromt 600eur, you can afford 15 to support this amazing game. Just buy less food, problem solved.

Yeah, the cost in pearls between NA and EU is identical (that's evident just based on the fact that we get the same announcements for the price of pearl items each week). It's normally 1500 pearls for a 30 day VP and 4500 for a 90 day VP. If there's a difference in cost, it would be in how much the pearls themselves cost. In NA, 100 pearls is roughly 1 dollar (though a bit less if you buy more at once), and I would guess that in Europe, they're charging roughly 1 euro for 100 pearls, in which case, it would be roughly 18 cents more per 100 pearls, making the 30 day VP approximately $17.71 instead of $15 at the current exchange rate. So, while Europe might be paying a bit more, it's not a lot more - and definitely not triple. I have no clue what they're charging in SEA, but I expect that if you find the prices in Europe expensive, you'd find the prices in NA just as expensive. Sure, we'd all love it if PA charged less for stuff, but it sounds like from the perspective of a player from NA or EU, you were just getting a much better deal in SEA (be it because of the difference in the cost of living or PA's whims or whatever).

Of course, the actual cost of living varies from region to region even with the same currency, so if PA truly wants to take that into account, they potentially need to charge differently based on your current location rather than just NA vs EU vs SEA vs whatever, and maybe they should handle that better than they currently do, but either way, NA players are paying roughly the same prices you're complaining about - not that any of us would complain if PA started charging less.

Yes it is way too expensive. When you like the game and want all the " buffs" you need Value pack, Kama blessing & Old moon book then it is a freaking SIXTY EUROS !!! That's nutts... And we can't get enough via market place. My orders can stay 1 month 1/2 and i don't get my Old moon or Kama. Plz PA regroup all this or at least if you want an expensive game leave those prices but for 1 month not 15 days.... And when a GOOD MMO will go out we will massively stop BDO

Here we go again, have had the topic about BDO sub every now and then, no point to complain, ppl buy it, it won't change, look, they keep buffing it with more stuff so they can justify the price.
