Well the reason behind the mass discount giveaway is that their revenue drop quarter after quarter, and they are desperate.

Whether they moved back their devs or not, I don't know. The thing is that their mobile is well... it ended up how it was expected, CD got axed, probably had internal problems, but that game had low potential anyway.

Now they have their new pedobait game, but I doubt it will going to be sucesfull. (Except if it will be a mobile one.)

BDO indeeded their main money maker, but I don't really see much chance that they will stop the fall from here. And it's not negativity, but really where would you lead the game? They release full fallen good within 2years, and? That is already less than 1% chance to PEN at 400FS, I don't think adding a another layer of 0.1% chance at 400FS will going to matter anything. They capped their own game.

20-30years kek, you can see that someone speaks BS when you see empty claims like this. The game will run untill it's profitable. This is not charity, this is business.

The sad thing that their revenue drops, even before the competitors even released. Like what one can expect a year from now? Lost Ark did beat bdo in KR, this is fact. One can hope that western players will not going to like LA, but it's not very likely, and Amazon will going to make sure that the game is marketed well.

Yeah they added many things that was requested and ignored for 5+ years, but why didn't they did it sooner? And even now they bitch instead of adding what the players requested, even if it would take them literately 1minute to add (Damage numbers).

They are desperate, but still not desperate enough, but the competition soon help on that...

And even not looking at it, it's nice that they give 1k+1k pearl, but what to spend it on? I have most of the outfits already, and they are way too slow with the outfit releases. I don't do P2W thanks, even If I could easily afford it, I leave it to the noobs.

I'm looking forward to Crimson Desert but if the game is buy to play and then convincince items every step including weight, inventory, pets of different tiers etc then I will not buy the game but will I make sure to spread negativity of the game on the internet. 

Publishers needs to learn not to milk their customers all the time, I have learned the hard lesson with BDO already.

As long as people buy it and invest in it, then publishers won't stop. Spreading negativity will get you nowhere, as it won't help. Next to that it's unnecessary to do that. Let people make the choice themselves. 

People are stupid and follow the masses. If people see that others are ok with predatory monetization, then they let themselves getting milked aswell.

If this has an option to avoid PVP while having the ability to do end game PVE...This is a day 1 (legendary) version for us. My wife just hates forced PVP. It's why this game is only an off-season game for me.

I feel crimson desert is BDO 2 they just telling us a lie to save profits,.....like they always do. It would not surprise me if its an MMO, they even said end of the campign a "multiplyer is unlocked" and you can continue in your own story, if thats true then yeah RIP BDO whales. 

also think they anounced this game at a trade show as a new flagship MMO, do you really think they would change the game this deep into development Pearl abyss are the king of lies and misdirection as well as falses promises. don't be surprised if this is litrally BDO spiritual successor. 

Hopefully to be released this year. Mostliky delay is cause of consoles. As i mentioned earlier Elite Dangerouse Odyssey DLC had porting to console problems to a point where they recently released information they are canceling it all together.

Well, GFX are nice but when the char is moving the camera has a very high angle to prevent longer distance view in that video.

So either they are working on better FPS or there is again a popping in/LOD issue. :D

Anyways, somewhat interesting. I hope some of the improved tech shown there comes to BDO as well. 

I think it depends on how well PA 3 new games will do on the market. Cause their refusal to accept the failure of Shadow Arena, is not looking good on PA image, followed by massive delays of their next 3 titles. 

So investing more outside the usual: Character - Land expansion - Cash Shop  model in BDO will only happen if 3 other titels follow Shadow Arena footsteps - and will just become a massive money sink holes.
