This is secondhand feedback, from a friend who started playing BDO this season and quickly was demoralized and discouraged. 

Seasonal progress is all about getting that PEN Tuvala gear.  

PEN Tuvala gear is easier to enhance than normal gear, but the fact remains that you MUST enhance it. There is no way to save silver to purchase it. For normal gear, you can grind slow and steady, avoid gambling, and simply purchase the gear that you desire, already produced for you by the riskier players who gamble for us.  

But Tuvala gear must be gambled. You must enhance it. There is no other option, unless you consider not getting PEN Tuvala to be an option - and if you do that, why not just skip Season and start a character that wears Oasis?  And you only get Tuvala enhancing materials via grinding monsters. If you are a new player interested in lifeskilling or other non-grinding activities, you feel pressured to keep grinding time-filled stones while you are in season, so as not to waste seasonal time - and get to lifeskilling later. You push it off and don't get to it because you have a deadline in your head. 

New players are promised a game of freedom and "choose your own path to wealth and power" but what they get instead is "do this main story quest and then grind monsters and gamble your gear, this is the only way, your choices open up later." 

I propose that Tuvala gear (and accessories) be available on a seasonal-only marketplace. Let seasonal players craft, buy, and sell tuvala gear just like players on the real servers craft, buy, and sell boss gear. This could also become a good silver-making opportunity for entrepreneuring veteran players who save up failstacks prior to the season and are willing to make a bunch of Tuvala gear.

A better Idea would be to just allow Player made advise of valks to be listed in the central market with no price restrictions. The central market would only display the first 30 or so cheapest instead of set prices. (Can buy +20 up to highest Failstack a player lists. If a players higher FS is listed for cheaper then a lower FS. The purchaser of the low FS would automaticly buy the cheaper higher FS.)

Then turn enhancing into a lifeskill.

Boom, solves everyones problem, and PA still gets to sell cron stones in the pearl shop disguised as costumes.

I agree with OP's point of view on Tuvala gear. I was reluctant to make a seasonal character because I knew that would force me into enchanting, which I generally want to avoid as much as possible.

However, "easy enchanting, take advantage of it while you can!" is one of the important strategies by which Pearl Abyss gets new players hooked on Black Desert. Out of all player categories, gamblers who stick to the game probably earn them the most amount of money (from outfits for cron stones & artisan's memory).

That's why I think "forcing" new players to get a taste of gambling enchanting early on (Naru gear) and then making it gradually harder and more rewarding (Tuvala gear) is very important to PA and why they won't make Tuvala gear transferrable between accounts any time soon, unfortunately.
