AFK fishers, AFK horse trainers, AFK cooking, AFK combat / skill exp, AFK alchemy, AFK everything.

And you seriusly talking about the BS steam chart numbers?

You don't afk-lifeskill or afk-scarecrow for nothing, you do it for a benefit in your next active playtime.

So twist the numbers as you wish, at a given moment they may not be particularly precise but in the long run they are still a good reference. Above all if you remember that not all players are on steam. 

As simple as stated by sadalsuud. Even dumb haters should undertsand AFK meaning in BDO....why care for AFK activities into a game you despise? Instead, AFK bdo possibilities are a great QoL regarding MMORPG grinding genre

Question, why are you guys trying to trick people into playing BDO. Who you know more than likely hate it. Why not just be honest and up front about things. So you'll get more fans and less haters. Of course unless you think the reality is not a strong motivator for people to join. Or you think it's better to having haters play is better than having no one playing. Is that it?

You would expect a game that has a lot of 24/7 AFK mechanics. To have a much higher playerbase then those trash fast food MMOs you guys keep talking about.

Dunno what to say to you. I share my good experiences, some bad ones, and hints about BDO, a game I like.

Despite its flaws, BDO stays a nice game in the end. The best advice being to avoid haters, and those players who only know how to spit on any content that is not "optimal". Many things are not optimal when you do them, but if you like doing them, bingo! You reached your goal in a GAME, ie playing. 

They literately jsut recycled the sesidence system and rebranded it as mansion (jsut as was expected), very surprising indeeded.

Meanwhile people in FF14 spend weeks to make brothels for the cat girls and other people legit pay to rent rooms here, like wut, the depth between the two game is day and night...

Fearless / Transcendant Soul / EgoAdAstra / whatever else name he used, has been doing this same, broken record, comments since,  like 2016 on Kakao forums.

Literally.  Not even kidding.  We go way back, me, Faerless, Sadalsuud, ReconKangas, Columba, and others.  Prokaiser too.  We are remnants from the Kakao forum lul.

The answer to your question...who knows other than himself.  Maybe feels some sort of sick sense of justice if he discourgaes people from playing a game he himself couldn't succeed in without egregious P2W?

Those MMO's cater to a casual audience a lot more than BDO, who targets a much more niche audience.  Not every game is made for everyone, and we all know that BDO sets itself apart from tradiitonal MMO's.  Even YouTubers like MMOByte comment on how differnt BDO is, in that, it offers a huge amount of freedom in which you, as a player, conduct your gameplay.  Do what you want, whenever you want, is a general theme here.  In tradiitonal MMO"s, you don't have this same sense of freedom, you are relegated and forced to group for raids, for example.  BDO, we do not have to rely on anyone to make gains, other than ourselves.  Different strokes for different folks.

Those "fast food" MMO's are easier to get into, easier to play, easier to learn, more simple combat, less intertwining systems, less or no RNG mechanics, a streamlined gearing process that's easy as 1 -2 - 3, equalized PvP, PvE servers, and all that stuff that appeals to a large, mainstream, audience.  So no kidding a mainstream game will have more players than a niche game.

Why are more people eating at McDonald's than Harry's Burgers down the street?  Harry's uses fresh, organic ingredients, his meat ground in-house, fresh from the butcher the next block over.  But why isn't Harry's bustling with customers like McDonald's and their endless drive thru line?  Ponder on that a moment and find enlightenment.

That guy have no clue about bdo. You should've checked his stream (as he did stream bdo when he got the impression for his vids), but he did suck hard, not knowing shit about the game, and not even attempted to understand it really.

Which is ok, just don't try to use his option as an argument. While he does lot of videos covering news mostly, his option usually as good as a new player's is.

This is understandable since you can't master every game if you try as much game as he do, but that still causes a heavy bias.
