When your at a point (softcap - Full Obsidian Blackstar, 2 x TET Distortion earrings, the rest TET Tungrad and PEN Kutum) where the only upgrade left is PEN Accessories/Fallen God Armor and PEN Blackstar.
That's when you realize...where is the content? What is this gear for? You still get 1 shotted in PVP, even with a brand new PC and 130 FPS. There is seriously nothing to do in this game. The most fun ppl get in this game is when they minimize it.
BDO Dev's must had lost their minds if they expect regular players to swipe credit cards for artisan memes and grind like you no lifers 10 hours a day for years grinding in a circle trying to get those PEN gear for no purpose lol.

PSA for new forum users: this poster has been creeping around for almost half a decade with same narrative yet he still keep playing BDO, which tells how much credit his opinion is worth.
He has been claiming that FF is superior in every way yet he always comes back to BDO between xpacks because the actual truth that fast-food games such as FF have nothing interesting to do outside of xpacks that you fast-food through 2 weeks after release.
For vets who he tries to fool with a new name, just browse up his player profile and look at character names.
Right, it's the same guy who cried about how supposedly broken gathering was since Manos and who is crying now with no shame because PA has balanced grinding income. You can safely bet that if PA balances gathering again he will cry again about how gathering is broken. If you guessed a pattern here, you're absolutely correct.

The problem is, you don't get 1 shot in PvP gear, if you are wearing Obsidian Blackstar, you are wearing PvE gear. And who wears a Kutum to PvP, you either put on an accuracy offhand, a Rosar, or Nouver. Only pepegas use Kutum to PvP.
Hey now. One of my favorite builds PvP includes Kutum. Muskan + Leebur + Heve + Kutum. 301 Kutum after I get done with this guaranteed PEN Crescent, which seems to be taking ages to complete -_-'

One thing I wish BDO offered were more avenues for PvP. I know BDO is supposed to be a sandbox-oriented MMORPG, and with that, comes "making your own content" - which is the argument against yours. That's basically what a sandbox MMO is all about, making your own way, and finding your own activities to do, using the game's tools.
But I think a little more themepark elements, like spoonfed content as in Queueable and creative PvP modes, would make the game more fun. But not too creative...wouldn't want them turning a fun PvP mode in BDO into a standalone game...but PA wouldn't do that...would they?

Kutum is ok for eva classes.
But yeah obsidian items are a scam/noobtrap, and while geting a full TET BS is relativly easy, that is oneshot in PvP. Tho even much higher gear can be deleted within less than 1s, so unless you're playing a defensive class which is loaded with protections (or fight again much weaker players) your DP barely matters.
This is a fast placed action game, "just evade it, lol" or if your class can't then go lifeskiling I guess.

Oh its the TGN guy, you know i'm on the Florin Neighborhood Meeting Group chat right? You guys literally log in every single day and play this game on all hours of the day. This is literally your life lol. Of course BDO is the best game for you.
For the rest of us who can afford to play a real MMO that doesnt look like it was ported from a mobile game, we will continue to point out what's wrong with BDO.
Also, who cares about PVP in this game lol. PVP in this game is dead. If i kill someone that means i outgear him. If someone kills me that means he outgears me. Move on. Nodewars/Conquest is pointless. Guild Dec's don't work because the BDO world is bigger now and barely anyone plays lol.
