Grinding away at ronas, the usual poacher with a chest..kill poacher..hit chest to open it...

The chest floated up a message about being possessed and started flapping its lid...BOUNCING over and attacking me.

I was laughing so hard at the animations i almost forgot to hit it.

Nice little bundle of rewards too.

Thumbs up developers, i'm grinding now not for finishing a daily there/ drops/silver ..but in hopeful chance another poacher with that unique possessed chest again!

I too love that little toothy chest lol.

Fun facts: such chests are classic in the RPG genre and are called a mimic because they pretend being a treasure chest to lure unsuspecting adventurers but are actually monsters.

Aaaah, thanks for this information, a small addition with an element of surprise is not bad.

In fact, such a system (random possession by the BS) could be a nice addition to the game, changing any mob from this world into a far stronger version of it.

For sure, it would need an easily recognizable animation and some time to get out of the spot for the weaker player, but it would be a nice surprise from time to time (and a good way to fight against bots!)
