Hi guys.
While I don't really agree that it's a good thing that we can get a PEN accessory much easier with the new quests, I do make use of it, because it's already in the game. That said...
I dont get their quests logic for the PEN thing.
Catch 1 grunt: 1 reward.
Kill 1500 fadus: 2 rewards.
Ok, so far I get it. Killing fadus takes a little longer in general, unless RNG hates you, but still doesn't take very long. Like, 40 mins tops.
But then...
Kill 2000 Aakman: 2 rewards... what?
Kill 3000 monsters: 2 rewards.... WHAT?! >.< -> id like to take this for thornwood but sheesh, the fadus quest takes 10x less long for the same reward
First off I find it strange that there's no Ody quests in the list... you'd think they want to attract more people to their new region. And second... why make harder enemies need more kills for the same reward? Makes no sense. To keep it the same, shouldnt Aakman be like, 1k kills and the general monster kill quest 1500?
What do you guys think? It's quite strange to me. Not that I have ever understood the logic in this game in the past 5 years, but still.... xD
Actually most people go polly, because its place to afk.
People literally get this with no effort just like infinite potion + tet accessory.
Then again I cant complain when this game is full of rng. Someone first traps pen bs while someone has to fail it 60 times. Lets just say that devs are not very smart when it comes to progression.
I remember back in the days, when the whiteknights was like "bUt BDo AtLEast doNT haVE DaILyes" when they tryed to bash wow and similar games with their "forced" content /kek

I get that. I hate Polly so I didnt check but I would assume thats similar to Fadus. Not much effort needed.
Thing is, I don't want to have to go to a diff grind spot when I don't have to. I'm grinding Thornwood and would like to stay there. It's just... odd that I need to put in easily over twice the effort for the privilege :S
Think in terms of variety of combat.
Your gear/levels/skills along with need of experience, silver & drops you normally would grind for
3000 monsters:
Example One Variety
I don't want to do circles over and over and over constantly on the same mob.....yawn yawn boring! Zzzz.
So i'll cheerfully run through the variety of mobs the region has-thats a bit more fun!
Or decide had enough of mobs in this area, new scenery! go visit another regions mobs etc. etc.
- until i have 3000.
Example 2-Highlight targeting.
I go after experience/drops/silver..hitting a variety of mobs.
Some are really good for silver, terrible on drops. Others have great drops, but terrible silver.
Every mob counts, so its highlight targeting without any losses to 3000 total.
Example 3- Family fight targeting
Your family of characters. More then 1 character at various levels of experience/skill/gear- can swap your characters-fight-gain experience, silver, drops from the mobs all adding up to 3000.
RBF daily for this crap when?
RBF daily for this crap when?
Imagine crying about dailies and begging for more dailies in the same topic.
Now the logic behind faster mobs verus slower grind.
Fast grinds get it done. Save time. Fadus wipeout easy..15? 20? 30? minutes....
I just cheated myself.
30 minutes at mirumok trees pays me much more silver and combat/skill experience then finishing all of a fadus quest.
Now time spent to do mirumok trees as the quest ..more time, but hey the payload/experience/drops are not a waste of my time at all.
you guys are overthinking it, its all bout the income, PA wants people to lose income while doing this daily as a way to indirectly pay for the item wich is why they initially avoided including the most profitable spots
