If you accept that, whether you're for or against PVP camouflage, next time you're the one who's going to get screwed with something else.

1, They did not change what they advertised.

2, They did not change it cause PA wanted, but because the palyers asked it to be changed.

1. Yes they did. The description of the outfit said "indistinguishable", not "replaces your name by something else as much distinguishable". (cf screenshot)Treant outfit

2. not all. Part of them only.

When you are about to download and install a game into your PC, read the ToS first.

Any MMORPG ToS (i am not 100% sure about other type of games) clearly say "we have every right to change our game any time we want".

They don't say it exactly like that, but that's what they means.

So nerfs / buffs / bans / limits / reworks etc., all of them fall under the ToS.

Read before you spent your money and when you are about to put your signature.

And if you want to hear it, yes that camo BS should have been nerfed ages ago.

If you think it doesn't make you look like a grass bettle, then open a topic about it as a bugreport, but hint: you never looked like that.

Also Grass beetles do have a name plate, so it was buged so far, but thanks for the confirmation I guess.

Sure, they have every right.

It just doesn't dispense them of being fair and commercial.

But keeping what you said in mind, as it is entirely true and they take advantage of it without any consideration for their scammed players, I'll think twice before picking out my credit card from now on.

Exactly this! People never read the TOS , so when things change they get upset like this. Personally I saw someone the other day with a ghillie and still couldnt tell they were there until I read the unknown adventurer which in a sea of mobs kinda hard to distinguish anyway.

They did not change it's function, it never intendeed to give you advantage, and your name is still hidden, just as it was advertised.

They do not need to give you refound at all.

Agreed

Honestly, move on to more important things.  I bought this to hide my name.  It still does that.  If you bought it to give you the upper hand in pvp, then that's your issue.  It wasn't intended for that.

LOL. Did anyone honestly expect that they could get a refund? In terms of money, what you bought were the Acoins (or Kakao Cash if it was before the transfer). After that, you were dealing with PA's version of Monopoly money, and unless there are laws on the books which specifically cover the ability to refund purchases made with a company's made-up currency, of course, refunding isn't going to be a thing. The actual purchase was made when you bought the made-up currency, not when you bought the camouflage outfit with pearls. And of course, the ToS is going to be worded in a way that they don't have to give you back any Acoins or pearls, and they're definitely not going to give you back any real money unless the law requires it. Part of the whole reason that companies like this use their own currency for microtransactions is so that they don't have to give you a refund for anything you buy in the game, and they go as far as the law allows them to in order to make it so that you can't ever get refunded even for purchases of their fake currency, let alone what you then get with the fake currency. And PA goes so far as to use a second layer of fake currency, because you buy pearls with the Acoins and then use the pearls for the actual microtransactions. They're covering themselves as much as they can so that they don't have to give anyone any refunds and so that as few gambling laws as possible can be applicable to any loot boxes you get. Any form of refund is purely PA being nice or trying to minimize player backlash.

Now, as compensation for the change, PA did make it so that anyone who had previously bought the outfit can now melt it into crons, so it's not a complete loss if you want a refund, but if anything, you're lucky to get that much. You really shouldn't be spending any money on micotransactions in any game and expect that there's any chance of ever getting any kind of refund.
