PA trying to bring new players is a good thing, means they haven't give up on BDO. The alternative will be like NCsoft with B&S, milk as much as you can from the remains of the player base, to the point even proud whales complain about it.

Anyway, just because some things are getting easier that does not mean new gear will not come at some point. For all we know full boss gear pen could be the "new tuvula" once the next area is launch.

Remove the rng gearing and the unending grind and then there is no need for free stuff.
Full boss pen armor won't mean anything when they add full fallen god sets. 
Seasons help veteran players more than new players anyway, they have a very viable backup while gambling away at higher grade gear(and other things)

Haha xD Yeah...we should have a way to slow down progression (rng in this case), but I do agree that sometimes the RNG can be annoying...although as long as u can buy gear on the MP it's acceptable...

I just wish we could sell failstacks on the MP and crone stones, so ppl that really don't want to touch enhancing, don't have to...but nowadays u get those FS and crones and u are incetivized to try enhancing and suffer xD

The only "content" bdo got is the endless grind for gear. If they remove it, and let's say everyone can get max in a month, then players will uninstall after 2months, as there is nothing to do.

The progress fuels an mmo, and no mmo is an exception. Even in wow, if they would not push new content every few months, the mayority of the palyers would leave.

Yeah, there is a small minority, who likes to grind the same bg/arena/dungeon/raids over and over, but that's not the mayority.

It's honestly irrational, to expect people to grind 5,000 hours. To stand a chance against people who get carried to good gear for no effort.(Less than 100 hour while being RNG carried.) Or people who spent so much money. That 95% of the population can't even dream of ever hitting such gearscores.

95% or more of the current MMO population will look at the road to be viable in BDO and other MMOs. And will completely skip on BDO. Hell, BDO has a worst issue at retaining players than Eve Online. And Eve Online is a hundred times more complex than BDO. Against MMOs like ESO, GW2, FFXIV, and even WoW. BDO can never hope to be anything more than a niche anti-social, masochist and sadist paradise.

Meanwhile, you can compete with all the players on lower GS.
