First I hate gathering. Second, there are no 100% drop buffs you can use for this. Third, so far I've spent 3 hours and only gotten 1 pity piece. I'm already at 400k feathers prior to pity system coming in. This is my last piece, what kind of BS is this? The compass was more enjoyable than gathering, I hate gathering.

As much as I defend the existence of a pity system, I don't think it should be too easy. So what you said is in fact a good news, I think.

300 hours to get one piece of the MP pot through Pity System due to ineffective gathering drop for this last piece. I'd rather fight people off arsha than gather.

You're basing a statistical theory on a single occurence of an event which makes no sense. Come back when you've gatherd for like several tens of hours and we'll see if your 1 piece per three hours still have any validity.

When did I say this was a statistical theory, it's my own experience.
I've already put 38 hours prior to pity system into gathering this shit piece. The pity system is trash. I hate lifeskilling and there is no way to get additional drop rate buffs on this shit piece other than extremely minimal 30%, 5%, etc. This is supposed to be the easiest of the three pieces but it requires me to do something I hate, which is gathering and the one thing I thought would make it easier to shove down my throat is absolute filthy garbage.

you didn't really put 3 hours into pure gathering. you are including time it takes to kill the mobs. This is very inefficient. I suggest goign to arsha at prime time and asking someone if you can gather from their kills.
another instance of someone blaming the game because they personally suck. I have both infinite mana and hp pots and valtarra piece took less time to aquire than any piece of any treasure.

At least with the HP Pot and Compass I could kill noobs on Arsha to vent my anger

Try hunting, the piece(s) you want is now on the hunting animals for valenica, dreighan, kama, ody regions

You still have to do butchering, but you at least get meat/blood/hides to sell instead of all those feathers.
