That is not true.

Forum activity is low cause it's pointless to use it, simple as this. You can write anything here, it's not like PA would care about the player feedback anyway, heck they even ignore the bugreports. (This is the same for all region forums, they ignore the KR aswell.)

Forums are a thing of past. Not many players use them nowdays, and even game studios shifted for social media in interacting with their players (if they even bother to do it).

I am not sure what the percentile is here, but all game forums represent a tiny minority of the vast majority.  I do have a hypothesis on why you see lower posts in any forums lately.  Throughout 2020, the entire planet has been on and off lockdowns due to covid outbreaks.  When people are stuck inside they get bored and rant on these forums.  This summer has been a breath of fresh air (literally) as we have emerge from our cocoons to experience life outside the plastic bag.  Forums and online games are seeing a slow down over all.  I can best illustrate this with Steam since they track the history of all the games played over time.  Steam Chart's is a great tool that shows most games swelled in 2020 and dropped in the summer of 2021.  Most games do drop off in the summer. The majority of the population lives in the northern hemisphere. This means people will return to the games in the winter, when they are once again trapped in the home. 

Covid was very kind to online games.  Maybe global warming will have the opposite affect? I still have my airconditioner running and it is suppose to be cooling off by now. Last year I lit the furnace in October, but maybe wait until November?  We shall see.

No one is forcing you to play a game you hate. So much qq about a game but you still play it xD.

Post a positive and constructive forum thread about changes to the game. And the BDO community just use is as a platform to get at each other's throats. ~The true nature and toxicity of the BDO community in a nutshell.~ 

Also not all MMOs' forums are as empty as BDO's. Just look at how much traffic ESO's, FFXIV's, and GW2's forums get. You'll be lucky to not get more than 20 post per minute on those MMO's forums. On those MMO's forums people are more invested on being helpful and showing off their builds. And how well they perform in PvP and PvE. People are actively talking about RPing, issues with the game without fanatics getting toxic with them. At the end of the day those MMOs' forums have a much higher positive and welcoming atmosphere about them. So it incourages more people to use them.

Alot of it has to do with how this Dev team breeds hyper toxicity from it's playerbase. The whole theme of the game is based around toxic inequality competition. Tho it does seem these Devs are starting to make more changes. To make BDO less niche and more mainstream. So I don't know how much longer these Devs will cuddle, with the toxic portion of the playerbase.

Those mmos are much more popular than bdo in the first place, so it's logicall that it's forum is also more popular...
