If you hate it with Tuvala trust me you don't want to go anywhere near Blackstar, as it is right now. You can burn through 2 billion woth of mats for one or two TET attempts.

I've been enhancing Blackstar weapons and armor to "V" casually for over a year now you are absolutely right about the enhancing of it. While the armor itself in itself is a whole lot harder to enhance its a lot more time, silver, resources and headache/frustration involved with enhancing it pass "IV". The only reason and I'll repeat this again to get and enhance this armor is if you want it just to have. The stats compared to Caphrased gear is shit and there isn't a full set to wear versus a full complete set of regular boss gear. Just an honorable mention if you are building fail stacks for accessory "V" attempts Blackstar hands down is the way to build over 300 FS with no issues.

Black star armor is just here because KR players can't caphras boss armor

there is never a stock of caphras in korea, it is impossible to buy them and improve your equipment.

To overcome this problem and instead of increasing the caphras loot rate, they had lost months of development to release the black star armor and as their goal was not to be end game armor or compete with boss armor but only temporary armor until the caphras concern was resolved.

What you should do is make your own opinion by looking at gear stats, for example by browsing bdocodex.com.

Listening to most forum users is shooting yourself in the foot since they spread straight bullshit in order to fill their agenda.

PA introduces ideas and then half way through they introduce something better, leaving the previous idea to rot. Its a total waste of resources. Black star armor was initially teased to be the next step from boss armor without necessarily replacing it. Then all of a sudden they introduce fallen god armor. Its like what? 

Then they introduce the BS obsidian armor upgrade. Which is ok, but for the amount of time it takes to gather all the pieces it makes it not worth it at all. I'm sure they will buff the armor eventually, effectively negating all other armors. Its just what they do. They could definitely use better management.
