I dont think mystic needs any pve buff, she is decent in pve, a buff would be nice but its not necesary.

 

But in PVP/Large scale pvp she is in need for some buffs.

Her dmg is good in 1v1 both awk and succ. i think most players complain about mystic that she is weak or bad or etc,not because she is bad but because some classes are way better. as a main mystic for over 4+ years. 1v1 aginst, awk lahn or nova, is pretty hard. we dont have any good range skills, and we dont have the mobility that other classes have. i am not saying give mystic nova mobility or give mystic lahn grab, etc. she needs good buffs in order to match other classes in 1v1s. 

for me the most anoying thing currently about her are the gaps she has in MD,Dash,Silent step, etc. i think they should remove the gap or make them smaller.

Also i dont think she is currently the tankies class ingame. i have over 450dp hybrid gear and i get melted by novas, sages etc. some of these classes have a lot of dmg, high accuracy rates, high -eva buff, lots of protection and lots of mobility especially the newer classes and they are also piss easy + everyone runs nowdays accuracy accesories with rbf crystals, my suggestion is make her eva passive a bit higher and her self buff aswell. thing with your self buff is  that we cannot do it when we want, because its unproteced so we cant do it in large scale nor when ever we want in a 1v1.

 

Side note, i think they hard nerfed eva, and it needs to get a buff.

 

Also give fg on twisted back, i mean striker has it since ever and mystic does not, maybe its just my play style but i LOVE using twisted, its such a good skill and i wish it had fg back. and also make wolfs frenzy decent again not its just not worth using it you risk wayy to much for like nothing cause you never cc anyone with it.

As for large scale awk is pretty decent, i just think she should have sa on Wave orb(both awk and succ), so its  usable in large scale without you getting insta cced, and succ is just bad large scale, they cant really make succ good in large scale to be honest, its made from the ground up to be a 1v1/grind play style.

 

 

TL;DR

Mystic is good in pve, not a bottem tier nor a top tier grinder.

She needs to be a bit more tankier

Give wave orb SA

Give twisted fg back (striker has fg on it btw)

Remove/make the gaps smaller

Make wolfs frenzy decent

 

Thants pretty much it, take it as you may.

Can all of you  please stop comparing trash loot and being toxic to each other? 

Its a pain to read and doesnt help giving feedback at all.

 

 

 

They've done quite some good qol changes on global lab, i would like more changes to Succ tho, such as damage increase, better damage to adamantite and savage fang (just the skills in general that havnt been touched through succession), cause i dont think you should have to lock skills in Succession. Locking them in awakening is fine, but it kinda defeats the purpose in succession.

Infinite cc, what's that? "Cone grab" is every grab except nova and corsair. Infinite downsmashes, what's that? You mean guaranteed downsmashes? Don't have those. Mystic only has your standard 30% downsmashes.

 

 

 

Mystic together with some other classes ha A LOT of downsmashes on their main combo skills. It's true, it's standard 30%, but what about it's on every skill of your combo?

For example, Awakened guardian can't make you bounce on the ground more than once and it never happens since the only skill in combo that does the job has few hits.

About the grabs, there are more classes that have a pinpoint grab, like guardian, hash etc.

 

It's okay to ask to be stronger in PVE but pretending that she sucks isn't the way and shows how in bad faith some people are. Just say you want more, don't say she's bad, because she isn't.

Test realm changes seem good, Crouching wolf for Succ was made worse would like to see that reverted.

 

Some wishes

-make martial spirit shards only for movement

-give Martial spirit even when you hit SA/FG

-make the abilitys that consumed them for dmg do the amped dmg normally these abilitys are gated by CDs anyway and would be awesome to see awakening always using her dragons

I've played Mystic since its release and have always seen it as a "bruiser" that is capable of engaging a group of enemies and if left unchecked, would be a high threat.

 

Awakening Mystic's damage isn't supposed to be very high as it is a class that should have excellent survivability during neutral and in a fight where players are trading damage with SA/FG skills. Her strength comes from being able to re-CC her opponent multiple times and debuffing them to reduce their kill potential and ability to stay in the fight.

 

I hear many complaints from players saying that they die in a single combo from classes like Dark Knight, Ranger or Sorceress (as examples). This is normal as those classes could be categorised as "assassins" and need to be able to kill their target in a single combo otherwise they would have no threat (with exceptions to DP builds). Mystic's threat comes from being able to stay in an extended fight; by simply staying alive, applying decent damage and debuffs. 

 

What I would like to see for Awakening Mystic is better survivability (HP sustain, damage mitigation), better combo potential and smoother combo execution, protected damage rotations for group PvP and less costly mobility to ensure that she is able to avoid damage, CCs and keep up in a moving group with other classes.

 

What I don't expect to see is: extremely high damage (e.g Awakening Nova), fast mobility (i.e skills that move very fast and are difficult to track) and significnatly larger AoEs (e.g Witch/Wizard/Guardian). These are simply not the qualities of a "bruiser" type class, they are qualities of classes aimed at executing single targets or providing the main source of damage in a group vs group scenario.

 

In regards to the Global Lab changes, I believe 70% of the changes are positive and 30% of them are negative. Double Flash becoming a passive and Flow: Prey Hunt Stiffness in PvP are two examples of positives while the removal of lingering Super Armour from Prime: Tornado Kick and both versions of Scissor Kick as well as the change for Twisted Collision are examples of negatives.

 

As for the 2 new skills, the S+Q skill is decent in its current state, however the S+RMB skill is extremely disappointing. S+RMB skill feels like it was created in a few minutes as it lacks many core traits (e.g Accuracy Rate, Down/Air Attack, protection/CC). These 2 skills could be further improved. 

 

Here is my feedback:

 

New Skill 1 (S+Q):

   • Add Forward Guard and remove Bound CC
   • Allow S+Q to be used from Gauntlet if Somersault is locked (gives more options to transition in neutral and more combo potential)

 

New Skill 2 (S+RMB):

   • Increase attack speed and damage (increase damage by either improving base damage or adding Down Attack and/or Accuracy Rate)

   • Add splash area of effect when the projectile hits (currently, you can only hit one player/monster. Adding splash will make this skill useful in PvE)
   • Add Stiffness CC on 1st Hit and Knockdown CC on 2nd Hit

   • Allow the skill's 2nd Hit to combo from more skills

   • Add Martial Spirit Shard recovery on hits

I personally don't like the changes on the rework aside from the shorter animations of certain skills. Her AP damage has suffered as well.

 

Her armor has been removed from a few skills and now they expect us to compete with a reworked Berserker, Sorc, DK, Lahn, Warrior? GTFOH.

 

I don't think these devs even play certain classes because they would've never did a nerf like this to mystic or should I say "mystake"

Feedback for Awakening Mystic

Pre Awakening

Crouching Wolf ( Space after skill )

Revert crouching wolf wind-up time. It's not as fast as on live servers. We use this for short burst movement as well, adding a wind-up time slows this down a lot.

Twisted Collision ( Q )

Revert Twisted Collision change to what it was. The CC is more valuable than the protection. You can cancel twisted with sea burial anyways. If this is something for succession, make succession fg + float and awakening float only.

The damage on twisted collision is nothing anyways, why would you want it to be protected?

 

Scissor Kick ( W + F )

Revert the sa linger removal of scissor kick. During combat you have moments where you have to be fast and there are moments where you need to slow it down, regenerate your stamina back. Scissor Kick made this possible to regenerate stamina back while protected.

 

Flash Step / Silent Step ( W + Shift / A + Shift)

Revert the change from 3 years ago where you tried to make mystic similair balance by nerfing the movementspeed buff. That nerf is really out-dated. So make the movementspeed buff 30% and not 20%.

 

Awakening

Double Flash ( W/A + Shift )

Add double flash to backwards flash step.

 

Wave Orb ( LMB + RMB )

The flow of wave orb got merged with wave orb itself, but the cc of the flow didn't merge. Add back the bound on 3 shard wave orb.

 

Hurricane ( F )

When you use s+f after gushin water, hurricane has a big delay.

 

New Skill ( S + Q )

Remove the bound of s+q and add Frontal Guard to it. Mystic with a lot of knockdowns will almost NEVER use bound. The skill follows your camera as well which would be nice with a frontal guard. Also awakening has zero frontal guards in her kit.

It might be better to change the key input to S+C so that you can use sommer sault (s+q) to use float and swap to pre-awa.

 

New Skill ( S + RMB )

Change the key input of the new skill s + rmb. It takes it away from the vacuum, so now you have to use s+e or hotbar the vacuum skill. The problem with s+e is that sometimes when you fast engage and want to vacuum, the system prioritizes the e input for the grab rather than the vacuum. Also if you have the new skill to have s+e as its input, that won't screw up combo's.

Maybe w+c for key input?

 

Bugs!!!

- Wolfs Frenzy ( Shift + F )

- If you are running in combat (Awakening Stance) and press shift to go out-of-combat, you can cancel that with a flash step. This was fixed a couple of weeks ago but it got re-implemented. This is annoying because if you want to movement buff yourself and run out of combat, this can screw it up.

- Falling animation still happens with sea burial ( W + RMB )

Prime: Flash Step
Change it to the same one Awakening got: only the first two Flash Steps cost stamina, theird one is free, apply 9% evasion buff when all 3 Flash Steps were used

 

◦ Flow: Mass Destruction, Absolute: Mass Destruction
Increase accuracy rate buff from 6% to 9% (this is succession's only accuracy self buff other than a subpar rabam that is not used)
Make the accuracy buff apply on 1st hit instead of 2nd

◦ Prime: Hidden Claw
Change it so Flash Step can be cancelled into Hidden Claw skipping the jumping backward iframe animation of the skill
Increase frontal cone hit range to a similar size as buffed Thunder Pound
Increase PvE damage
Make Succession: Martial Spirit's 30% movement speed and 10% critical hit rate buff apply upon using Prime: Hidden Claw

 

◦ Prime: Soul Basher
Increase frontal cone hit range to a similar size as buffed Thunder Pound

◦ Prime: Fist Fury
Increase PvE damage

 

◦ Prime: Rage Hammer
Change it so Flash Step can flow into Rage Hammer without Super Armor gap (similar to or same as Succession Striker can)

 

◦ Prime: Roaring Tiger
Increase frontal cone hit range to a similar size as Wave Orb

 

◦ Prime: Wave Orb
Make it use T3 add-ons (same as in awakening, succession doesn't have any T3 add-ons at all currently)

 

◦ Prime: Scissor Kick
Add +200 HP Recovery upon using skill for both 1st and 2nd hit, so 2x200 HP overall (similar to awakening's Hurricane Sweep which also heals without hitting anything, though this one is protected, succession really needs some form of reliable HP recovery)

◦ Crouching Wolf

Revert to apply Flow: Prey Hunt even if used with 1 or 2 spirit shards and keep the part that it doesn't consume the spirit shards upon activating the flow
Remove the PvE spin cc
Increase mob aggro range

 

◦ Absolute: Elbow Edge
Remove the first hit of the skill, so basicly make it into a 1 hit skill (currently the non cancellable 2-hits make it feel very clunky in every scenario)
