I ran into this bug yesterday where you fall throughb the ground and keep falling for about 2 minutes then you die. It is impossible to get out of it. I tried to hit the escape option but when I open up the screen to do it the screedn closes up in like 1.5 seconds so I couldnt do anything but watch my char fall until it says death has found you. To top it off I broke 1 RBF crystal, lucky it was just 1 cuz i had 10 equipped at the time. I went to submit a ticket since I know PA restores broken crystals for you twice a year. What sucks about it is I died to a bug in the game and I get charged for it. I asked them if they could restore my crystal without charging me since it was a bug I died to but the GM that replied made no mention of it. So yeah I hope no one else goes through this bug and maybe get a fix on whatever it is that makes you fall through the ground. It actually lets you fall for about 5-10 seconds then you get pulled up real fast and fall again... rinse and repeat until you die what seems like to be around 2 minutes or so. This also happenned to me over 3 years ago when I was still kind of new to the game while I was out chopping wood. I still kind remember the area wherfe it happened so when I go chopping i avoid that spot. The place where it happened to me this time was at basilisk near a statue. I know there is a lot of statues but kind kf hard to explain where it was.

Sounds like your computer can't catch up or attempted to go beyond the supported frame rate. What's your FPS? Games are generally stable at 60fps and some like BDO can run at 144fps but you'll encounter anomilies. Conversely, if your computer has a really hard time, you might end up under the world somehow. But, you can also go through floors if you or the server has a sudden hiccup (network wise). In MMOs it's not uncommon to see people do force latency so they can do really weird things in a game like go through walls etc... Just a few things to check before moving forward I think.

I've been forced under for all kinds of reasons. My favorite was when I auto pathed into the desert caravan and got stuck.  Eventually the game decided that tunneling was the best option :)

We should at least get good sounds effects when that happens.

I'm running at 60 fps with an RTX 3070 ti.  I was fighting with basilisks and was standing still casting alot with a witch then all of a sudden I find myself falling through the ground. I don't stream but if I did it would be nice to have it recorded. Next time it happens I'll just take a bunch of ss and if I break some good crystals I might be able to save myself a crystal restoration.
