As a new player looking at the upgrading process, the sad sad lack of way to increase chance past a certain % and the overall expensive cash shop im done with BDO. I got lucky drops some new players would die for, but there is no light, the price of getting just pen items  to c20 alone would take years upon years of grinding let along acc's and the rest of the garbage. Good riddens

game has only gotten easier and catch up mechanic has only gotten stronger. free tet accessories from season, guaranteed pen accessory daily, guaranteed pen gear coming in the next few months and yet people still find a way to complain. 

also realize that there are gear capped content in the game and 2 of the 3 available sieges are gearcapped as well. the game has only gotten noob friendly in the last year.

Man just work hard to get caph stones bro it's gonna take a year to fully c20 your gear with this new amount of silver tho you can grind one hour day and buy almost 100 caph stones that's 3k every month x12 months u got one c20 plus if you hustle in side you can make more 

PEN Accessories and PEN c20 equipment, both are such a long-term goals. I think as a new player you shouldn't be looking so far ahead. PA's gear score breakdown at the last Heidel Ball highlighted most players never reach such goals with their characters. No wonder you've become discouraged. 

The game really isn't just about the destination (equipment or otherwise), it's about the journey. Cliche cliche sure, but it really is true; If you don't enjoy the day-to-day 'journey' activities in BDO, the game absolutely isn't worth playing (like any game).

As mentioned, you're simply looking way too far and you don't appreciate the travel itself. 

Catch up mechanics are present, capped node wars help a lot : no, really, BDO is far more friendly than before, even in organized pvp.

Sorry, but a new guild member of mine has been playing for 2 months and he has 261 AP kutum with a TET blackstar awakening weapon. That's basically the first 3 or 4 years of a casual player from the past all combined.

If it is still not easy enough for you, this game's progression just is not your thing. I'll be honest and say that things have gotten way too easy. I have been playing since 2016 and while I was fine with a set of free TRI boss, soon that became free unlimited TRI boss, full softcap with season, TET accessories with season and while that already took me a while to get over, cause I already thought that was too much - now PENs are being made easier to get.

Seriously mate, either chill and enjoy the gameplay, or find a different game. I'm not going to tell you to stop playing - I hate it when people do so and I'm sure you can find a lot of things to enjoy - but do keep in mind that progression has never been easier.

If it is made even easier, everyone will have the same gear all the time. And the first years of my playtime have already been flushed through the toilet. No thanks for even more. All the hard work veterans have done is mostly for naught now and while you can argue with me with something along the lines of "Well, veterans should get off their high horse, it's still a game, not work", do know that to some extent I really believe the catch-up has been good. They're just way overshooting things now. And you want even more? What next, free Tier 9 mounts?

The funny thing is that OP is the perfect example of why I believe this rapid progression doesn't help the game at all either: new players expect that everything is as easy as the first two hundred AP and DP and when they start having to put in just a tiny bit of effort, they quit. This is not sustainable. At the same time veterans who get fed up often quit.

I won't say the game is dying and they're adding really great QoL features that should have been a thing 5 years ago, but I do wonder where the game is going. I do know I for one am having less fun. I'll sit it out because I think it will get better somehow, but posts like OP's that only confirm my line of thinking have me worried.

People like you will ruin this game. You want everything then will complain there is nothing to do once you have it all. 

They don't need to make anything easier, they just need to make gear and progression at a good pace instead of being big jumps with super low RNG. Then they need to add PvE only servers and gear for PvP shouldn't be substantially different because it's about whoever grinds the longest or pays real money for the gear that will likely win. But if PvE servers exist, then they don't need to touch PvP gear, they just need to balance the classes which they are doing... maybe.

For people arguing against PvE only servers, why? How would that negatively affect you? It wouldn't. It would just be more inviting to more people since most people are PvErs not PvPers. Of course, if you're a troll/griefer it would affect you though since you couldn't grief anymore.
