Installation-Guide

1 Ladet die Datei BlackDesert_Installer_NAEU.exe herunter und installiert den „Black Desert“-Launcher.

2 Bitte startet das Spiel, sobald die Installation beendet ist.

Progression pass, I love it and hope to see more!

Hi!

Just wanted to say that I enjoyed the new "Progression pass" idea and wish there'd be more similar content as it felt rather nice unlocking things combined with it dealing with many different aspects of the game which in turn added a bit variation to the otherwise "farm this mob for months until you have the rare item and then go farm the next mob for months".

Perhaps some monthly progression pass could be a future thing (although with a bit more challenging tasks than gathering 10 fox hides)? Would be a lot more fun than the "challenge" of going online once per day :P

P.S. Major thanks for not including PvP in this as I really hate that aspect of the game.

To my understanding, this is an "introduction" or "transition" for New Players from Season to the game more in depth. Just as an "FYI, did you know this exists in the world of BDO?" So not sure if they have plans for progression pass for players past the introduction phase who have to choose on their own what they want to strive for. xD

 

And I disagree. PvP is one of the biggest pillars in BDO and it should be properly introduced with the pass as well. The Succesion vs Awakening class system, Absolute skills, BSR, Explanation of Node wars, siege, karma system, etc.

 

Doesn't matter if a player doesn't like it, cause nobody is forcing them to do it imo.

 

Yeah no thanks. They did good excluding it.

I think it should stay as an introduction to many aspects of the game (a one - time progression pass), and not as a monthly one.

 

I also agree that it should include pvp, but with easy goals so that it stays an introduction. Activating pk mode (not killing, only alt-c), entering RBF/battle arena... Things like that, see what I mean?

 

On the same idea, it should set easy goals for other activities, going on sea, reaching the pit of the undying, and so on. So that even new players will at least know that  "it exists in the game".

I don't like the idea of making it a monthly thing, but it might be nice to fold other features into the progression pass.    

  

The Progression Pass User Interface is very attractive and is in my opinion superior to both the Season Pass and the Adventure Log Bookshelf. 

 

Unify all these systems as pages/tabs in the Progression Pass. Reduce the number of menus out there, reduce the number of different systems, What if the Progression Pass was the definitive place to go to see things to unlock and achieve?  

 

Pearl Abyss should, with the game as grown as it is, look for opportunities to consolidate/merge separate but similar features together into a more unified thing that is stronger. It makes things easier to understand for new players when features are more monolithic and less split apart.

The precursor to it was the lore books you had to complete. But it wasn't really straight forward like the progression pass. I'm all for both being improved over time. It's these kinds of things that really make a difference in doing random things. Some games use the achievement system but this is fine too. Plus the rewards are great.
