I'm going to start out by saying sadly I don't have a picture reference to go with it except Sorceress. However, allow me to give my Suggestion. 

So I'm not sure how others feel, but I love the thought of facing myself in open-world. Yeah, some people can say, "Well, Witch can fight Witch. Zerker can fight Zerker." That's not the same to me because skills are different. What if we had a new Male Boss that wielded Black Magic that could copy your Weapons? That's right folks. Even the name I thought of was Melforian. "You can call me, Melforian. Remember that when you're on the ground."

He would be able to copy your weapons and abilities, and really put your character to the Test. I feel this would work better as a boss or open world randomly spawning mob like Afuaru, whereas you're grinding Wolves or SE, in the middle of your grind a portal opens up. You have 1 minute to get your faculties together (Pause scrolls, utilize correct draught/perfume/food if necessary) and then he will come out, and a fight will commence. He will start out with the previously fought player's weapons, then copy yours mid-fight at about 50% health. If you beat him, you get Melforian's Chest, and I'll let you guys and/or PA decide on the rewards. 

Now, this is definitely more for combat-oriented players. If you're a lifeskiller, he won't show up. He won't show up at Behr, he won't show up at wolves near Western Guard Camp, he wants real competition, so he would only show up at higher end areas or decent/potion/treasure areas, and we could even go as far as him being able to copy summons like the Guards on Nova or Heilang on Tamer.
