Alright time for some positivity!
Thanks for giving us a color pallette! Finally! FINALLY! Hands down the best change over the last 5 years. Well, for me and other altoholics, outfitoholics and char creators like me. I have yet to read patch notes and hop on the game and test things myself, but since this was finally added, I thought I could offer my thanks ^^
Of course, nothing good is ever perfect in one go: apparently you can't save created colors? Or am I misinformed? If that is not possible yet, that would be the next fantastic step.
Not totally sure but looks like the colors and outfit materials you choose are always there for as long as you keep buying Mervs Palettes and going thru the deactivate / reactivate process each time.
Its sure a nice touch and step in right direction to have cool RGB sliders to get a more detailed and closer color scheme for your personal tastes, but i personally still prefer the more permanent colors from the dyes ive bought, they may not have the flexibility of this new RGB color system but i have them permanent without the need for constant renewal of the MPalette. But its greater choice to the dye system so that cant be a bad thing.
i wonder how many players this "best thing since past 5 years" will bring back... :/

ah, ive never used single-used dyes. they annoy me to no end. i always have mervs up. but this pallette can also be used in the character creator for your hair for example, so its not just for outfits.

Sure, not many. Your point? Obviously I'm being a bit light-hearted. These forums are 99% negativity.
The main reason why we got this is that Lost Ark also have it, though that is still better as you can use patterns on the texture aswell, and you have better controll overall.
While it's a good change, it shouldve been in the game since day 1 given how easy is to implement it.

It's a really lovely change yes. I've spent far too much time (or perhaps not enough!) mixing and matching colours and similar already. The variety in dyed outfits from players is already clearly event in-game which is just great. Some really have talent for colour-matching.
Now if;
- We could have somewhere where we could save a variety of (e.g. 9) custom colours we like to easily apply them to outfit pieces, and if
- We could have an undo window, much like we have when character customising,
I think it would be practically perfect.
I would agree if they made it f2p. Never liked paying for, or even renting, colors.
Free costumization would be a huge positive.

Maybe but consering there's still fairly new mmo games like swords of legends online that still don't have a dye system it's not like the old system was the worst.
