EgoAdAstra, I strongly disagree with ur suggestions.
Pirates should have content and an oportunity to enjoy the game aswell.

If you are having fun by PK griefing people. You should be faced with stong reprocussions. I'm not saying disable the ability to PK. I'm just saying non-consensual that in most cases are just one sided baby seal clubbin. Should  hurt like hell when you get punished for it.

So, if you have a bartali boat or a raft and u become pirate because accidently u used your cannons testing the pvp mode u should have all the sea content denied?
So, you know, a Pirate cant acess any wharf except Kuit and cant progress in questline. Even in land redplayers dont have such big punishment.
Dont feel strange if a Pirate grief people, control whale meat monopoly, attack Khans and disrupt afk players in bartering routes.
Do u understand what a Open world game with PK mechanics means right?

That's why I'm saying Red players on land should face the same penalties as Criminals at Sea. Ignorance is not a excuse to commit a crime. Sorry it doesn't work that way.

More so are you saying the PK griefers who cost players billions in items. Should be lightly punished. Is that what you are saying?

A.) Max Karma one should be able to have is 1.

B.) Max Negative Karma one should be able to have is -25,000,000.

C.) Karma gain should be decreased by at least a factor 20.

D.) Negative Karma players should not be able to interact with non Outlaw NPCs. Meaning normal NPCs will refused to talk to negative karma players.

E.) Negative Karma is should be family we.

F.) Unless in the Ocean or Desert all Negative Karma players should be freely trackable from a few NPCs.

G.) When a Negative Karma player dies they get hit which huge penalties.

Discuss!

A) That would not make sense. The essence of the word "Karma" is that someone should receive consequences of actions, both positive and negative. By limiting the max positive value to 1, you essentially remove the meaning of karma and should just rename it to something like "criminal status" or something.

B) Again a no from me. If someone goes that deep into the red, there is absolutely zero incentive to go back to positive, since it would take ages to grind back. I think the 1mil negative karma limit is already harsh enough.

C) Big fat no. This essentially punishes someone directly deeply into the red if they choose to PK someone even a single time.

D) I don't really mind this one, but in turn it requires PA to create more outlaw cities for red players to stay in.

E) I kinda agree from a gameplay point of view, but it doesn't really make a lot of sense. Essentially you are punishing the brothers and sisters of your character by ill mannered behaviour of your character.

F) Since we already have the black robed man in Velia, I don't really mind this feature. Makes being a red player more exciting as you have to be careful of players hunting you!

G) Big fat no! The penalties as they are right now are already enough.

When it comes to penalty, I think that a penalty that effectively temporarily but surely removes the sinner is what we need. Not necessarily a harder or a lighter punishment, but an efficient one.

That's why I always suggest jail penalty. Once caught the offender is effectively removed. If you add in the fact that the jail time is only decreasing when the character is connected, that means "low" geared pk alts won't be as easy to use, as everytime they get caught you can't count on them anymore, for a set duration that doesn't go down if the char isn't connected.

On the other hand, I'm totally against any permanent loss like crystals, exp or enhancement, it hinders the use of owpvp. Well, I'm against these loss even in pve, to be honest. Penalties should be different but efficient.
