1: Allow Artisan workers to promote to Guru workers
2: allow us to equip Guru workers with Loggia/Geranoa/manos gear & accessories, allow Worker "mastery" stat to impact their yield/speed from working nodes
3: Create new Processing Workshops in towns for many materials so that we can assign Guru workers with Mastery gear to perform simple processing that we'd traditionally do ourselves, for example chopping timber, heating ingots, or grinding flax or whatever

Why?
1 - this could vastly improve demand for lifeskill gear, as there may be incentive to fully equip an entire NPC workforce with Manos gear (lol that'd be truly insane wouldn't it?)

2 - this could vastly improve afk-income and inspire more people to remain perpetually connected to BDO

3 - this could smooth market availability of various levels of commodity items as more people invest in node empires and workers

4 - provides an additional goal for veteran players to chase - don't just hardcap your own combat & lifeskill gear, why not get some hardcap guru workers, too?

Could be crazy. Just a super rough draft of an idea, would need thoughtful consideration/revision before it could fit into the game but I think the idea has potential.

While equiping workers would add deepth to the game, it would be an investment that would never return.

The investment not returning is a bit of a challenge. That'd be a lot of workers to promote and equip.

OK, this will be very abstract, but maybe we put this at the TOWN level and not the WORKER level, and make a system sort of like Caphras.

1 - allow us to melt lifeskill gear into a special new stone; higher level melts into a greater quantity of these stones
2 - allow us to invest massive quantities of this special new stone into our towns, for example Heidel, Old Wisdom Tree, Shakatu - the system will be similar to caphras enhancement of boss gear. Put tons of stones in, improve the level of the town. Higher level requires more stones.
3 - Increased levels in a town will apply a general and overall improvement to worker performance for all workers lodged in that town. Perhaps, increased level of investment of this type in a regional capitol might also improve active player lifeskilling performed in that area as well

Why?

1 - again, this is an idea to improve the value of worker empires and give yet another account-wide thing for us to all progress our families.

2 - this increases demand for lifeskill gear and related materials, because people will now be incentivized to buy it up and melt it down

I'm not sure. I'm spitballing ideas, but I am just interested in general in providing valuable new uses for items, and for giving us new things to progress for our families.
