An alternative solution to this would be raising the forced to interact with Bad Players cap to 60 or 61 so at least then people who do Season can fully Awaken their character have fun with the combat & then decide if they want to make the push for a full Combat Class.

Forced PVP never should have stayed at 49 when they added Awaken at 56. It’s not 2015 anymore level 49 is a JOKE.

But as the power comes from gear and not from level, you would have untouchable grinders even on high level grind spots.

I'd suggest a gear score, instead of a level requirement for the pvp definitive activation. 

Considering Life Skillers are rocking Manos & or Green gear teir life skill gear & die instantly to a gust of wind that would also solve the problem.

Also there is lag trying to change gear so you are dead. You try to swap gear as soon as you Fairy up and they kill you before you can gear swap ie you are just a sitting duck with ZERO recourse and that's assuming you are not afk.

Then of course the people who do this stuff are fully buffed and you have lifeskill buffs & food may be on cool down so you are ALWAYS at a disadvantage.

At the end of the day this is cut and dry NOT PVP it’s just jerks being jerks.

Except in BDO killing a player is equal to flipping someone off IRL, not equal to actually killing someone IRL.  In IRL you do not respawn.  If Death in BDO was forever you would have a point that Karma needs to be more punishing, but death in BDO you are back in seconds, with no adverse effects.

Assuming you are not trying to fish at the same old exhausted fishing spots day after day after year after year after year because a handful of people physically can't stop themselves from pissing in other peoples cornflakes.

Or you are a horse trainer who wants to afk in a loop so you dont get stuck on stuff because auto path is so bad. And if you don't believe me you try finding ANY safe zone in the game you can auto path Forest Rush and it NOT get stuck 20 mins after you send to tray.) I cant do anything about that bad game design.

You Mutually agreed to PvP content when you completed the PvP quest at 49 that allowed you to go to level 50.  

Feel free to look at my profile, you will notice I have a Guru 19 fisher and an Artisan 10 Horse trainer.  I fish and horse train all the time, Yes I hav a forest path wagon that I auto path with occasionally when I feel like horse training, but I am not really a fan of horse breeding so no need to.

Gotta correct you on this one.   When they kill you and you are on your mount or ship, you have to also spend silver (not too much of course, but still silver lost) to revive your mount.  Any sailors on your boat also get their conditions reduced to 0 as well, so you need to fix them up.

Then there is if you are doing Trading or Bartering.  If you happen to have been transporting Trade Goods then you just lost what.. 40%?  Of them or so due to a red player's actions.  If you are bartering you lose -all- of it (at least I did when it happened to me two days ago) and that can cost you over 100m value of silver right there.

Sure still not a 'lot' for people who are already decked out in gear or already have a bartering carrack or whatever.. people who can grind that much easily in less than an hour.  Sadly I'm not one of them yet, and it's really been discouraging me.   Honestly tonight is the first time in a few weeks that I actually signed off the game because my heart just isn't in playing right now.  It's frustraiting and upsetting that I had to go through this, as the only reason I did initially was I was under a false impression that I needed to level to 50 to barter.  Well not COMPLETELY wrong.  I guess you can't do some of the bartering dailies without doing the great expedition quest?  which requires level 50.. how ironic.

Point being, BDO was the only game I could get that fix.  Trading and Bartering.  I don't like or care about combat, and I think it's messed up and wrong that to avoid jerks who the karma system doesn't work on at all would be to make an alt and make sure to never level it past 49 and work on getting to Master 16 Trade again, and getting bartering and sailing up again (and much slower with the limited amount of dailies I'd be able to do).  And I honestly will probably quit now.

I know most here couldn't care less, but this makes 6 times I was PKed now in a short span of time, and the time and even money I invested on my main character will be gone to absolute waste with the need to make an alt to avoid griefers like Compass or that Inmate1776 or whatever.

No, I agreed to PvP when my characters turned 45 and there was no way to stop them, because in this game you get combat XP from life skills.

The devs really should bite the bullet and make the number 2 channel of every server group a PvE channel, and the number 6 channel of every server group a PvP channel like Arsha, but without the drop rate buff.

Anyways I think you are misunderstanding something (unless I'm reading it wrong).  At level 49 you get a quest from the black spirit about going beyond or whatever.  If you accept the quest you get an item sent into your inventory, and if you use that item it completes the quest which unlocks going to level 50 and PvP mode.

If you never accept that quest, or never use the item you get from it, then you will never level past 49 which means you will -mostly- be safe from PvP and being PKed from strangers.

Although correct me if I'm wrong, since I've been given false information on other things already.  If you are in a guild and another guild declares on yours then it doesn't matter what level you are, you'd be fair game for getting killed by other players.  If that is the case the only way to 'truly' be safe from the world PvP nonsense is to never level past 49, and never join a guild.
