Drop tables alteration by events items is just superstition from people who don't understand the randomness of looting in BDO and try to find a pattern where there is only coincidence.

In the scenario of devs making a mistake while adding event items in the loot tables, you can reasonably think this would happen once, maybe twice, but nobody make the same mistake over and over again for half a decade.

Lastly, the scenario of devs willingly punishing players by lowering the chance of rare items during events doesn't make any sense.

Yes, event drops effects regular drops, only people who think they not, dont grind at all.

It been know that these events do affect loot tables the source code for how loot tables is generated has been data mined and shows that the game will only allow one speical drop in a mobs inventory after death. So if you ever wondered why you can gather something and not get caphras, hard, sharps, and black gem frags all from one gather node. The game generates the numbers determines if you got a rare item drop than rerolls to see what that rare item drop is from the avabile items in the table. So other words it like rolling to see if you get a nightmare zarka box after killing nightmare zarka than rolling again to see what you get from that box.

if you have a hedgehog yes it is possible because hedgehog doubles the loot table so you get two loot tables per gather. But you will never get a hard, sharp, caphra stone, and black gem fragment from the same gather. Go on test it for 2 months for your self you will see that I'm right. As for fish it the same idea the koi takes up the fish spot in the table the relic takes up the rare drop in the table. So ya with my fact not theory it is possible. The source code showing how loot table works was datemined a while ago and it been years now and people have proven it to be true since no one not ever has ever gotten two rare drops from the same loot table outside of gather with a hedgehog which in that case no one has ever gotten 3 rare drops in a loot table from gather. It has never happened because it physically can't happen.

hedghog was  a thing since launch not just with the steam package. It just not sold 24/7 usally only at the beginging of each month. Secondly this doesn't prove me wrong just because you said it was takken without a hedhog doesn't actually mean it was takken without one. I could screen shot my self getting a pot piece and claim I got it from goblins with the lack of information I see in this screenshot. Honestly so with your next post try actually show that you looted this without a hedghog or I'm just done repling too you.
