I'm currently in Valencia doing main quests, and since autopathing doesn't work there, the quest pointers help a lot. Problem is, there's a truckload of other pointers to quests like world bosses etc that I haven't even accepted, but they're there and it's really hard to go in direction I need to. Is there a way to turn off white triangle quest trackers that I don't need?

Oh, that's odd. They used to point towards the different towns you had discovered. I'm not sure when they changed it to display quests, but I obviously need to clear some of those up.

If you are doing the Valencia I quest, what I do is get to the edge of the desert, look at the map to see where I need to go and make sure my character is pointed in that direction.

Also, use the different Sanctums as markers if you get off course.

I am not certain about the mini map HUD, but I was standing in Heidel and had the multiple pointers and distance indicaters surrounding my character in the 3D display.  I used find mount twice and they all went away.  The indicators on the mini map are very helpful at times, but too many can be a burden.  I will play around with it today, if I find out anything new, I will get back with you.

When I started playing (first closed beta for NA/EU in 2015) the markers already pointed towards quests and not towns.
