I think the problem of BDO is mostly the fun.
Since the reboot, most of players don't find any funny in the game. PVP and PVE.
PVE hasn't real mechanics, sometime it has but it's just kill something, get a buff and easy.
PVP is just a question of protected CC + protected DMG. Some class is top tier because they have protected mobility, protected CC and protected DMG like Lahn, Ninja, Kunoichi, Mystic, Sorceress. PA seems to not care, they just let them like without trying to balance them.
The actual content of the game is OK but it kinda needs a quick rework to make them better and funnier because right now, it's just boring and not fun.
PVE not having mechanics is not a problem. If they release PVE with mechanics it will be fun for a few weeks and then becomes the same grindy chore rests of the grind spots are now. It is the gameplay loop of grinding to get money to upgrade gear that needs a revamp. Let people make money via Arenas or RBF or solo/duo dungeons(still think aakman will be such a cool dungeon).
Revamp Sea Monster hunting, like do anything but let people, if they are bored of grinding should have an option to make a similar amount of money based on their gear through other ways.
For PVP I am hoping that they bumped up the number in anticipation of artifacts and lebraska helmet absorbing some of those damage numbers back in. It is still very weird to be in a one-shot meta.
My biggest gripe is failed promises. if you are apologizing and announcing a date and then completely forgetting about it. You screwed up. Player trust in game dev is more important than the content. This time you failed miserably there PA.
they promised balance with reboots, they failed to deliver. also - nws are in worst state ever since introdution due to them cleverly limiting people to regions and player caps.
devs are completely out of touch.
