It would be worrying. Players may want to try something else, or BDO was simply a temporary game for them, who knows? 

But if you like what BDO proposes, it makes no sense seeing Lost Ark as a better alternative, it's really different. 

All PA will do is announce a new female class like their 6 year history has proven and all the people who say they are quitting or have will be back playing like it's a brand new game with no complaints. I would not worry about the population of this game as it is not dead players are just hibernating like a bear in the winter does. BDO players are like herpes they always come back regardless of how you treat them.

Even 90% bdo players are "fake" afk events players. And this shows how bad this game is, because if maybe 10% of players are actively playing and there is no place for them on spots, what would happen if everyone suddenly gave up life skill / afk activity. Och we know what would happen because every 4 months we can see it on seasonal channels. But season channels happily don't have pvp.

So you say that lifeskillers and people who are using idle and afk features of this game are not real players?

Ever considered maybe that is the reason that they play? BDO is great combination of MMO and Idle game and thats why I like it. The possibilities and endless progression all atractive and I feel sorry for people who know nothing about the world and their main interest is just grindspots 24/7.

If such playstyle makes them happy, fair enough, but if BDO removed everything but grinding and PVP it would be pretty shallow and uninteresting game and I would leave it. Like majority of people.

For PA they are not real players since PA is spitting on them.

1. We don't have even one pve channels for life skillers (probably even 99,99% life skillers don't care and don't want pvp) especially when it hinders horse training, trading, fishing.

2. Earnings from life skills are not even 1/10 of this amount of mobs trash, and also requires an active play (e.g. gathering).

3. We don't have guaranteed pen manos clothes or tools.

PvE only channels would change the game entirely. I guarantee this game would blow up in popularity and overwhelming support if they had them. I don't treat this game as a main MMO or even keep it in my pocket most of the time because there are no PvE only servers and I know groups of people who feel the same way. This game is designed to take in the sights and enjoy everything at your leisure. PvP is broken and good luck 1v1 PvP as a Shai. I won a few random encounters but only because they weren't overgeared.

Speaking of life skill, if they would make things like horse training a rewarding experience, it would also be a game changer. There's a thread dedicated entirely to it and I completely agree. PA is sitting on this game and it could be so great with minimal changes. PvE channels would geninely be the defintive game changer and I think the people who downvote people over this opinion are red griefers.

How about you make "scam" boxes return more?

Buying 3.5bil + 3.5bil boxes and then get under 2bil back on each is kinda underwhelming. Even casino slot machines have better return rate than this bullshit...

I know there are million more stuff to do, but I know many new players who grinded like crazy to buy these boxes, because they don't know better and get screwed so bad lol...

4. Life skills exp does not exist.

Today I spent over 620 energy and I got ... 8% in gathering on Master 9.

And 8% of this was due to: +50% event, 4 pets so +20%, 6 manos tri acc so +55%.

At that pace, I won't even reach Guru 1 in a year.

The 3.5b boxes, and the 20m for lightstone conversion are deflation mechanics.  Right now there is far too much silver in the economy, PA introduces those things to remove the total amount of silver from the game economy.  The 3.5b worth of boxes was specifically added to offset the 6th aniversary silver increase from the event.

620 energy takes about 1 1/2 hours.  If you only used 620 energy this whole event I would say that is a inefficency of play problem.
