I was close to spending some IRL dollery-doo's on this game but then the complete and utter complacancy in handling this event really pushed me back into my wallet. Between this, the shittastic "raffle" event, and extending the winter season by an entire month PA just keeps showing me that they're inept.

A shame, but I think simply it's a case of they were taken a bit by surprise by just how popular the event was. Hopefully in future, the absolute sea of players that turned up for these fights will be more accurately predicted, and resultantly events made to better handle such numbers.
It is absolutely great they are attempting these kinds of events though. I hope they aren't dissuaded from what happened today and continue to try in future.
I felt bad for the GMs after the event ended with all the harrassment in world chat.
But not anymore, mistakes happen, sure. But then they decided to do a roll back so people didn't have the items from the coupon they gave out, l o l. It was only a 20 ish minute rollback, but still.
They mess up and then even go as far as punishing the players.
ALSO, wouldn't a simple solution just be to make it a 'world boss'? With shared HP amongst all channels.

Mostlikely they want the new seasons to start with the new region/new class. Remember the season end doesn't cause the next season to start immediately, so they probably hold untill the new region.
Or they are just beign the usuall lazzy devs, and failed to recycle the seasons untill deadline...

Yeah..... Sorry this doesnt do much for me..... if you had only had the game up and running a few weeks I could understand but this is a really pathetic apology and answer in general.

Thank you for response and acknowledge of how this event went. And remember, it is always better to be overprepared than have a disaster you gotta apologize for later. The hype of other games is slowly wearing down and due to current patches people do come back so guys, how to tell you, game ain't ded yet.
