You didn't miss much, aside from the lagfest and, for once, queues to log into the game. Everything else about the event was hit&miss. From having hits registered to using skills, pots, functions. All the way to actually surviving long enough to loot, what with all the pk'ing going around initially.

Heck I would love to participate, but NA times are so late that EAST COAST people in est time zones can't participate, It was the same for the bonus vell and garmoth spawns, they spawned at midnight everynight, and some of us have jobs.

Feedback for the NA side of things: You have customers in EST time zone too, making them late PST makes it impossible for half of us to participate.

This could have been avoided by making the time for Belmorn 6pm PST, which is 9pm EST.   Oh well.

Don't worry, they borked the event for NA too, exactly the same way.

TBH, the event was a really really big mess.

I was at home, because in my country on the 3rd of March we had a national holiday. I was eagerly waiting for the event to come, even if I was expecting really low FPS on even the lowest graphic settings. Well... I didn't come here to make a rant like a hater at all, but I want to keep a more constructive "language". And also I like the game.

The ping was quite hazardous. Actions were like delayed for a minute. It was difficult to tell what was exactly happening. The lag was caused by both PING and FPS. The deadliest combo ever and it's not my first time to experience it.

I checked my own internet to make sure. And it was fine. So my conclusion was the server can't handle like 300-400 players at the same time. Even SHIFT+F5 didn't help at all.

This is for the GM's. I quit the event before it even ended. When you host an even like this, you have to keep in mind, that there are going to be such happenings. When there are too many players at one place it becomes impossible to do anything. And the players had to be spread in like at least 10 servers. I personally have never seen any server to be capable to keep that many players at one place, but feel free to correct me here. I hope you learned a lesson and do not do this again.

Seriously though, I like how you changed the start time at the last minuet too. Just confusion all around. 2 of the 3 servers offline. Never seen a queue in Black Desert before either. Good times.

A shame, but I think simply it's a case of they were taken a bit by surprise by just how popular the event was. Hopefully in future, the absolute sea of players that turned up for these fights will be more accurately predicted, and resultantly events made to better handle such numbers.

It is absolutely great they are attempting these kinds of events though. I hope they aren't dissuaded from what happened today and continue to try in future.

Opposite problem here: Alaska time.  Later is better.  Especially since I work late a lot.  But that's not the norm for most people, I get it....

As for the event, after reading about the EU experience, I would have only come to experience the disaster for shits & giggle.  Sort of like showing up at NASCAR races to watch the crashes.

If they could work out how to do this properly, great.

This is the 3rd time I've personally experienced a garbage event like this from PA over the years. Every single time it's a lag fest where you can't even hit or even see the boss, then server crash. (The last one I can remember was in Glish fogan swamps) Maybe the dev team turnover rate is so high that none of them even knows about past failed events so they just keep doing this same shit over and over.
