Been playing Lost Ark for almost 3 weeks now, and almost on Tier 3. If you have a working credit card, DO NOT play Lost Ark. It's 10x more P2W than BDO.
Imagine those Sharps/Hards/Mass of Pure Magic/Black stones and other enhancing mats being time gated (you can only farm a certain amount per day), but if you buy it from the shop you can circumvent that Time gate mechanic. That's what Lost Ark is.
Just wanted to let ppl here know if they're thinking of jumping over.
Now if your a 100% Free to play player, I would say Lost Ark is better than BDO mostly because of the Teleports and Not needing to leave your PC running for AFK mechanics.
In another topic you've praised Lost Ark. Now... What happened? :) So what lesson have we learned? Find out what the game has to offer first and how it's played before coming to conclusions.
Yes. The game is really a P2W type as most people say.
And to this day many online games are chasing this type of method in order to grow and prosper.

I have been trying to tell the "LA is better than BDO" trolls this very thing. I told them it really kicks in after about 2 months and only gets worse. Every time I get massively down voted.
I've seen it myself already. I don't believe what people say, until I find out the reality myself.

Or I'm implying that the acronym itself is outdated but still used by many people.

OP used a well-known acronym to talk about the current situation in LA and BDO. That's the most important point. YES, the acronym is totally outdated, barely define the whole situation which went far beyond the simplistic idea of "winning" after all these years, and I'm also disappointed to see this acronym being used...
Still, blocking any discussion just for this reason is childish. For sure, by doing that, you're not "winning" anything either. Move on.

Please, don't. AwakenedKuno was pretty enthousiatic about Lost Ark, but still decided to come back on this topic to write his opinion.

There is no game in the whole world where you would win anything, hence by this stupid logic it would never had any meaning. But it's hilarious to see how ppl living in denial try to bend things just to defend their game like their life would deepend on it kek.
The only situation where you win is if you get advantage over other players, that's what it means, and what it always did.
And yeah, LA is a Korean game and (surprisingly) it's monetized like every Korean game. It's a P2W garbage, shocking. Their arenas might be equalized, but GvG and outdoor PvP isn't. If you wish to swipe to win you can, just as you can in bdo.
What I don't understand why the stupid ppl cry (not specially talking about this forum)that they can't manage to hit 1.3k+ gs in a month. Like you could reach 700+ gs in bdo in a month. Nowday kids want everything, right now, with no effort. That's why we have fornite and the likes as top games nowdays...
