Hello,
The game is getting worse, the community is getting worse with each passing day.
It is impossible to do PvE, if every 15 minutes another player comes to ask for the "DFS" and if you don't accept it, the other player feels entitled to kill you.
If your goal is to kill the game, you are succeeding, you are losing a lot of players because the situation is becoming unbearable.
Instead of creating new classes to be able to sell the costumes, and then nerfy them promptly, making them unusable, think about solving the problems at stake and listening to the LOTS of complaints that are written every day.
You have a game with a HUGE map, but if you go to grind any area, rotations are limited, there are 37 servers available, but the areas are too limited. You could just put the exp areas like the Star's End tower, Maria Cave tombs, Basilisk's Den Column or the Gyfin Underground area, doing so would make room for everyone.
Just to give an example: a lot of people go to Thornwood Forest, but the rotations available are few, compared to the number of players who go there, if you put, to say a number, 15 towers in each area, it would be 15 towers * 37 servers = 555 spots
It would be enough to do such a thing and you would have TOTALLY eliminated the problem of the Duel For Spot, the private server for 1 hour a day will not be of any use.

Is that how you fix issues? When SMH was completely broken why didn't people simpy just do other activities? It's just as bad of a question as yours.
Yes, it does fix such problems. Find a different grind spot, espetially not at peak times to lower the chances of any potential competitor.
One can solve this problem on his/her own.
Go back to your cave, Retteo and stay there, ban evader.

In a PVP game like Lineage 2 a main objective of A REAL PVP game is competing for bosses. Their offical stance is this is a PVP game if you can't get boss items GET REKT it's a PVP game.
How does Pearl Abyss address this same issue? We don't want anyone to lose out!! We don't want them to compete for important resources. So all PVP is REMOVED not PROMOTED from World Bosses.
That's all you need to know.
PVP in BDO works like this. I want your spot!!!! I don't want to give you my spot. We'll then we will both just have to harass each other and exploit the game as much as possible until one of us just can't tolerate it anymore. Not really fun for either side ;)
If you sum up and clear what you say is this:
Lineage 2 is pvp game because ppl compete(PvP/PK) for loot(boss, but also for spot)
BDO is not pvp game because ppl compete(PvP/PK/karmabombing/mobfeeding) for loot (spot)
Basicaly again hypocritical rant and no constructive feedback.
And yes Lineage had also mobfeeding and karmabombing. But in general had the better PvP system. And no PvE server. But changes were made to be soften to new players, same is BDO.

I was a Lineage2 player too, began in 2006 and played it for 17 years, I remember that you went to grind in any area, Valley of Saint, for example, when u was already here and another player came in your spot, was enough say "spot taken", and the other player leaved from the spot, without the drama of "DFS" or other, there was MUCH MORE respect between players.
On BDO, seems that a lot of player they would need to consult a psychologist, to understand where all their pent-up anger comes from XD
