Drakania’s Feedback (First Week):

Explanation: In this feedback I’ll be summarizing the most common feedbacks from the official Drakania Discord according to how many approval it got and how often it was posted, then I might add a few things to the feedbacks based on what I understood and what the community sees as solution and I’ll also be taking in consideration the last update in the Global Lab (08/04/22) and at the end I’ll post a screenshot of all the feedbacks, also showing the emojis of approval (thumbs up) or disapproval (thumbs down).

PS: Every thumbs up will be counted as one upvote and thumbs down or anything negative will count as a downvote and next to the title of the theme I’ll be talk about, I’ll be writing (+x number/ if positive and if it’s negative or equal zero, I won’t be writing the feedback)

PvE performance (+105 Upvotes): One thing I’ll say in this topic and it’ll count for some topics that are also coming up is that most of the people in the community is conscious about the Rabams and Awakening skills coming, they still commented about it and the common feedback was that her PvE performance, even with high damage multipliers, it’s still very bad because of multiple reasons and the one that got the highest upvote (the 105 upvotes) is related to the PvE damage. The problems were multiple, going from how some skills flow into each other, the lack of cancels to the slow skills, their speed and damage. As for solutions the community thought about I’ll be writing in the section related to specific skills and related to Ion mechanics - one thing that people have started to think about is that she might have some skills that are not working properly..

 

Stamina (+72 Upvotes): One thing that is almost a silent agreement between most of the community is that the stamina cost is too high, some even talking that the stamina cost should go back to the way that was post-first nerf in the Global Lab. Other solutions will come later in the section about specific skills.

 

Flow between skills (+55 Upvotes) & Animation Speed (53): This week we received an update on Global Lab related to the speed of certain skills and how they flow into each other and some skills are now faster over there, so I would wait one week to comment on this topic again.

 

CC (+47 Upvotes): The problems are the lack of at least a single quick reliable CC to catch faster opponents and how all the CCs she has are mostly too slow. Related to this, some skills got reworked related to getting new ways of CC’ing in the Global Lab this week, so I’d like to see one more week of Feedback related to it.

 

Ion Mechanic (+24 Upvote): Lack of damage on non-ion skills and Ion charging skills. It’s a very important mechanic for the character, sadly it doesn’t feel like it’s worth it, with people complaining that they’re losing damage by worrying about charging their Ion.

 

AP Buff/-DP Debuff (+24 Upvotes): Basically a petition to return the +20 AP self buff and -20 DP Debuff like many melee classes have.

 

Bad 1v1 (+9 Upvotes): She’s too slow and most classes can either i-frame most of her kit or grab her out of most of her animations - Both for the same reason: Too slow. I believe that it might change with the changes made on Global Lab this week for the Ion Charged Skills, so I’ll do the same as I’m doing for the Animation Speed, Skill Flows and CC for this topic

 

Skills: 

Dragonwalk (+79 Upvotes): It’s too short to go to the back of certain mob packs and because of the lack of any quick reaction against grabs, it was also suggested to become an i-Frame (+41 Upvotes)

 

Markthanan’s Breath (+65 Upvotes): A skill with great visuals, great range, but completely useless. It’s suggested that it either has a CC or a buff/debuff. Another thing that was commented was an increase in damage (+13 Upvotes)

 

Markthanan’s Dominion (+41 Upvotes): Like Markthanan’s Breath, it has great visuals, great range, but is completely useless, being often commented as if this skill dealt no damage.


Markthanan’s Wing (+28 Upvotes): Mostly people commenting that this skill costs too much Stamina, suggesting the cost of 300-350 Stamina. My personal take on this skill is that her pre awakening and succession is visually “symbolized” as these wings and having it more use and easier usability would make sense. My personal take on this skill would be to make the character keep using it as long as they’re in the air, like a dragon flapping their wings to fly, and make it have a command to use while you’re on the floor and wants to only dash forward with it without jumping (Command suggestion: Shift+Spacebar). Design-wise it makes sense and I kept imagining it after watching this twitter’s post posted by PC’s BDO official account https://twitter.com/NewsBlackDesert/status/1512608738745753609 and how fitting it would look like.

 

Azure Onslaught (+6 Upvotes): Too slow, which makes it too predictable.

 

Prime: Eviscerate (+6 Upvotes): Good skill, Knockdown’s hitbox is awkward, not good.

Interesting thought; is it even possible, after having crafted from the ground up ~24+ individual classes for this world, many having very similliar skills to Drak, and considering modern technology, that PA doesn't know this?

Really imagine what it means if they don't.

Also, no clue how you could think her damage was too high when she can't even consistently one shot polly's packs at full V Tuvala.
