I know 2 people that do not play this game because they are poor and can not afford the tent and weight. This decision would ultimately improve the game for the players and sure it might or might not hurt PA's financials, I would bet on it not to hurt them at all, because I think alleviating the intrusive MTX system they have in the game would turn more new players into regular players which would keep them playing which would make them potentially spend money in the future.

Why would PA bend the knee for players that leech off their game? If they are too poor to pay to play then they're not a customer, just a leech. Every (active) player costs probably around $2/mo. from PA's side of things, possibly more when you account the cost of developing the game. They're not selling player data so the consumer isn't the product. It would be bad for PA and bad for other players if players only leeched.

Should just give 5 pearls a day to all players. Its nothing really but would add up over years to buy one item XD

The reason why buffs like Kama blessing etc arent sold is because the pearl to silver ratio is generally much much worse than it is for outfits. That means the incentive to buy and list this items is simply not there. For OP to be able to get any "pearls" from the market, the pearl/silver ratio would have to be competitive with outfits as well.

However, directly selling currencly on the market has some unsavory implications, so I doubt this will happen. Instead, my personal preference would be A) Making most or almost all Pearl items market-listable and B) increasing the silver price of other pearl items to match outfit pearl/silver ratios.

Otherwise, it will stay in the way that only premium outfits ever get sold. While I think these should still be the majority (due to the implications the removal of outfit crons would have on a lot of people), the malus in instead trading other items should not be as large as it is right now.

The kama and old moon packs are only worth if you need LS because they give you a lot.

Directly allowing pearls to be marketable would :

- Ruin the communication they can make about the fact players are purchasing items in their CS. Items, not plain pearls. No matter what we think about it, they'll explain it the way it serves their business : "look, this item has much success"

- Prevent them from creating purchases with their so-called "special offers". Watch how some participants mentioned the "silver to pearls ratio", it's true, it really exists BUT... It's all manipulated deliberately, it's a matter of perception. Whatever happens, in the end, the house always wins.

So, it would be nice BUT in a purely business-oriented point of view, it would be a bad move.
