Hi, with the recent event. My friends and myself we decide to try to complete the altar of blood, even the 10 stage.

But honestly, I'm starting to think the aob its bugged? Let me explain:

We arrive at stage 10, we avoid the kutum circle at the begginning, we kill the 3 eltens as fast as we possible can (we kill the eltens simultaneously) and continue cleaning the area of mobs.

BUT we arrive to the crucial moment, the Layten boss fight. This boss almost every time, one shot kill us. I must say, I'm lvl 63 Mystic with 5200 hp and almost 350 DP, and my friend is a warrior with +355 DP. But this stats doiesn't mind, Layten comes, and even if you are at full health, just delete you, your entire HP.

This is normal or intentioned? Can you give me any tips to complete the stage and kill the layten?

you need a witch/wizard or 2 to pull the boss, because evasion skill on mages for PVE is considered as invincible.

or have your warrior roll around which is also considered invincible for PVE.

I had 417 dp/862 evasion with a full pve elixer rotation and every possible buff and he still 1 shot me so you definitively have to follow the mechanics of the fight even now.You just cant tank through the mechanics,you have to follow them like a WoW raid boss.Kill Kutum.

I mean i can tell you it doesnt oneshot a guardian at 379dp, but thats kinda beside the point cuz you can also block it with your shield and it wont even break a block at least on guardian,valk,warrior and nova if your dp is high enough.

In essence the best tactic i cud suggest is to not agro it right after it spawns and stand a bit to the side and kill the mobs that are spawning(they dont dmg the pilar after the boss is spawned anyway so no need to rush anything at this point), once the mobs stop spawning one of you guys agro it and the rest carefully dps it, it dies pretty fast so as long as you can block/iframe or atack him from distance for a shortwhile before it dies your are fine, combine khalx elixir and armour drought for some extra survivability if needed.

For every one that don't know. You can finish stage 10 without killing Layten. Just hide behind Kutum in front of the big gate as soon as Layten spawns. Stage 10 can be finished by killing Kutum. 

As soon as Kutum has finished his second aoe you have a few seconds to deal damage. After u have to wait until he appears again. This method only takes time until he is down. As soon he is done you get the rewards but of course you can try Layten anyway after for a second reward.
