Thanks for this work Snoods! It's sad that the entire Shai community needs to gather at least this much data just to be taken seriously. Hopefully your work will get some visibility.

Phase two results i wonder if PA knows these tests were not easy and took a hell-o-lot of time and effort? PA asks for feedback. You cannot get better feedback. I when above and beyond. This isn’t unverified garmoth results or streamer opinion. Each top result is recorded, each test explained for reparability (scientific method). It is proper balance testing.

The only way this could be higher quality is if I was getting payded to do this a proper job (like the good old days).. but I’m not going to fork out cash to have me typos checked and spend even more of my free times testing a game for free. You have got free labor PA. Each run had to be done over and over, and restarted if something whent wrong. It was actual beta game/bug level testing with a report at the end, for free!

-And sure it not a 'perfect', but I don’t have access to dev tools. I had to use my game resources that I worked for.. And now they have run out

We see that yes shai is above some classes and gets an early advantage as expected, but some classes catch up quite well, the one that don’t? Why should shai suffer for them? Maewha doesn’t? I would guess that mean musa also has the same advantage? Probably other classes too, but I can’t play them all.

You see, shai isn’t above all the other classes, she just not at the bottom. The narrative that she is top /s tier is incorrect, at least in mid game. Shai is average. Average in PvE and bottom tier in PvP, GG PA.

It’s a pvp game no matter how nice you all are in the east. Ability to take or defend spots, and compete on arsha for the drops bost.. these should also be taken into account when balancing a class.

I have now put hours and days, weeks into this project, for PvE… I don’t even like pve, but I had to know if PA really have messed it up or not. Doesn’t look good PA, I played your game.

None of the other classes should have come close in my hands, I can’t play them , I don’t know them.. I only know shai. Go on PA, have a look at the time spend on each class (I know you can), remembering quest time, travel time, even afk time.. compare all other classes in the video to my shai, ask yourself ‘HOW?!’

Not sure if I will do more test just yet, lot of work for something care little about (Pve), but hay, shai players are worth it :P

May develop standardized mid game test so all classed can be tested by top players on each class. And each result would have to be supported with recorded evidence… but I just don’t know if PA are telling the truth when they ask for feedback, or just looking for the feedback they want?

What I have produced should be enough to see some sort of reaction, if feedback is wanted and listened to, because there is an issue here. But I fear PA work solely of public/ loudest voice option and not reality.

Addition;

A system could be developed that is also game content, where players compete to get the best results in different gear brackets over different test zone (testing different REAL aspect of PVE) a leader board (and prizes, board could reset but hidden records could remain for PA’s data).

Not gonna get excited about such an idea, or put it forward, because I don’t think PA care, else it would already be here
