This bug in Calpheon is as old as BDO and has nothing to do with any bug fixes that have been added to the game.

I hope they dedicate 2 full weeks on updating autopathing. Like, forget all other features, just make autopath work. Make it work while running, horses, wagons, boats, whatever else I may have missed. It's sadly a huge important update that is grossly neglected. Bartering would actually be practical to play if they would just fix pathfinding lol!

That screenshot is as stupid as is using auto pathing to go left for 5 meters.
The manual path looping feature is an amazing fix for the time being, you can be quite clever with it and make it far more efficient than auto pathing. Especially on boats.
I do agree, however, auto pathing is like opening a can of sardines with a turtle shell.
