Issue:

If you have your character inside the mansion before the rent expires, you will not be able to leave through any of the doors.

It may be possible to use another character to renew the rental contract to exit out of the mansion. It may also be possible to use ESC > Escape method, however I've noticed that not many people I talk to even know this feature exists. Likewise, if you remove investment into a residence, the same thing may happen.

This is actually pretty funny - don't pay rent and get locked in :)  Character transport?  Map out?

No sure how you can end yourself in your mansion but you could maybe do character transport but I don't see how that will help. Using a map is possible as well and likely using ESC > ESC can do it. The problem is, you can get a mansion on the same day you start playing the game and it's very possible to not know any way to get out especiallly if you don't have an alt yet. What if your alt is stuck in port ratt? lol that would be awful. New players if they read the dialog could rent it for just a day and not realize what will happen if they don't pay Mr. Roper.

Veteran players can get out of this situation (probably) but I doubt new players will figure it out without googling it or sending a ticket to a GM. I know some people don't know what ESC > ESC means even though they have been playing for a long time.
