1 Ladet die Datei BlackDesert_Installer_NAEU.exe herunter und installiert den „Black Desert“-Launcher.

2 Bitte startet das Spiel, sobald die Installation beendet ist.

Is Awakening Witch ever going to be viable in PvP again?

Once again as I read global labs notes with next to zero shit given to awakening mages I wonder...
 

Is Pearl Abyss ever going to give a shit about awakening mages PvP? We are the laughingstock of the game and anyone seeing us wondering why don't you just roll succession...

Since there is nice mechanic of second weapon-style such as awakening why is it that ever after successions came out every damn "balance" patch for mages just puts the succession in front and awakening is at best an afterthought. Right now awakening witch PvP damage, survivability, ability to trade is beyond laughable! Yet in the global lab notes where they add whopping 2 more hits to Thunder Storm they also do reduce even more its PvP dmg. 

Also at this point I guess the devs are balancing the game for solare level of stats which makes endgame PvP so hilarious. Either way my message to Pearl Abyss would be #BuffWitch Awakening PvP ASAP and wizard too whose awa kit is nearly as bad in PvP. Go ahead and buff it a lot to make it viable in PvP again. It is in a such misery state that even buffing it a lot will only bump it to average class or get creative with mage awakening and re-build it from scratch to match current day mobility/iframe/etc PvP.

Finally stop putting all the mage dev resources into succession which should be inferior spec with only needing staff where as Awa needs obviously two sets of weapons and switching in between to master it, which should bring more depth and more reward that in current build it does neither.

they dont have to rebuild it, but make it work properly as it is.

that means one of or all of the following;

* people MUST respect its aoe range, not automatically go straight into them - give them higher damage and/or better built in debuffs (check class to class modifiers also, some classes can legit walk through whole casters awakening damage kit without taking noticeable damage)

* they need to be able to take a few hits from multiple opponents as they cant move much

* give them actual protected sustained mobility so they CAN remain at mid range

* give them incombat hp sustain like draks have if they cant get to move away and heal in peace with current mobility+damage+grabs of all the other classes

I can sympathize. I don't even need guardian's subpar grab to melt a witch. Wizard can at least grab me.

Devs neglected to mention that some classes are only viable for mass pvp and say tough luck when someone wants your grind spot. The moment you use that one slow AoE attack they dive and grab you. All of the faster classes don't have to worry about playing safely, they know you are on the defense. The end factor is if your DP and AP is higher than theirs.

Because of our neglected damage and defenses we can't even mass pvp as awakening. Awakening witch was a brawler meant for close or mid-range dmg. Nowadays you can only mass pvp as a mage with the staff-kit from range since every other class has higher dmg and either higher defenses or iframe/high mobility to hit and run. This is bad as for awakening the staff kit is slow circa 2018 developed absolutes. Absolute meteorite even cast without cast time (Sage's Memory) is so slow that high mobility class can run from max range to caster and in case of say a musa one hit KO the caster (or if musa lacks a bit ap cc and kill) while witch is still in meteorite animation. Meteorite has a frontal shield but sadly witch's frontal shield is the weakest in the game or even funnier it's turned off as cast is "done". No wonder you see us hopping on the walls/roofs like cowards eh. Still lacking dmg to do much else but kill-steal obviously.

PA efficiency was more than halved with nerf sometime ago, all witch healing is unprotected and in one shot meta that doesnt mean much either. So what we are left with? Class that is on par in pvp with Shai, except Shai's buffs are better.
