Warrior is a class which is built around its 360 SA Q block but the strength of such is either a complete miss or overtuned.

In lower Gearscore brackets warrior gets stronger as they can survive chip damage & the Q block is something that can tank abilities. I would say current Trial character stats and below are where that would be, this is again only in 1v1s. In group content, Q block for warrior explodes quite quickly in any main PvP content, even in something capped and low GS like Calpheon siege or T1 nodewars. In AoS due to the Q-Block universal change it wasnt overpowered in most scenarios when fighting good players as well.

The issue arrives when you're fighting certain classes who lack grab and good back attack damage (Sorc, Succ hash, archer, succ ranger) who get stomped by warrior at these lower brackets in 1v1s due to Q blocks strength and their inability to chip as much. While as soon as you raise the AP/DP to something like 309ap 401DP warrior Q block is nonexistant and breaks in 1-2 skills AT MAX BRACKETED DP. With this, some of the 1v1 matchups which Warrior used to dominate, it now gets smashed in as their Q block which they're reliant on now no longer exists when fighting range/iframe/high movement classes.

The First proposal i have for this is to give classes "Shield Breaks". These are modifiers to already existing skills that cause them do do additional dmg to Q blocks, this way non grab classes have a counter for Q block classes. With this, increase the tankiness of Q block so they can actually exist in group content for more than 1 second or dont get 1 shot by high AP persons.

The second issue with warrior is its lack of protections outside of 360 Q block. Warrior has very little in terms of FG & SA for skills & 0 full protected movement unless you take Solar Flare core meaning we have no engage or disengage potential. We HAVE to sit in Q block, which is not how many of us wish to play. We're forced into this playstyle since fighting many classes in any sort of unprotected movement means instant CC (Dk, sorc, hash, musa, ranger, archer, etc). Our long distance mobility is also heavily lower than most classes anymore with power creep, while our short "burst" movement is still there, its unprotected. Warrior needs some sort of protected movement to function correctly if you dont want us to sit in Q block 24/7.


Finally for the New rebalm titled "Ultimate Deep Thrust" which is a unprotected float... This skill is absolutely USELESS on current warrior, at least for awakened. I cannot speak for succession. Giving warrior another unprotected float with eh dmg is not what the class needs. Warriors want protected movement, in some reguard. Give us Rebalm Frenzy dash or charging thrust which allows to actually engage or disengage from direct combat, allows us to close the gap on classes without instantly getting CC'd or allows us to escape in some manner to get a little breathing room. Headchase is fully unprotected outside of the very inconsistent iframe it offers (it doesnt work 90% of the time just like zerkers iframe) which may just be an North America issue due to desync, who knows.

Even something like headchase flow for SA/iframe/ or sideways movement with FG is needed so bad. Fix the issue reguarding classes getting stomped at low brackets in 1v1s and also buffs warriors group fight ability which is one of the worst ingame atm.

Absolutely right. We don't need 1v1 combo only skills, we need PvE buffs out the ass and protected movement/damage/ccs. This rabam is completely useless and shows the dev team is either not listening, completely deluded of warrior on both specs is or deliberately sabotaging the class.

And the patches that have happened since reboot points at the latter.
