I agree with new mounts being a cool idea. However, I will note that this turns talk away from the topic of a Donkuanatt and into something that should probably be its own thread. The idea of the Donkuanatt being a simple reskin of a big horse to a donkey for smaller classes to enjoy would be a great addition to our mount options. Perhaps larger classes could ride it to some capacity for fun, but I would not want to see the game become overly silly like Terra.

As for life skilling... There was talk about buffing the Krogdalo set in the OP, but this was because several items in the game can grant an equal or greater benefit to life skills with little to no investment. Since life skill gear has minimal sources for improvement, it felt like an excellent suggestion to make. Additionally, carrying weight was never the real bonus of the donkey but rather the area of specialization for the baby elephant, which again would make a great starting piece for discussion if that was the intent.

I don't think we should give bonuses to the Shais donkey that would go against the theme or roles of other mounts. Still, I hope this topic will open the community up to future progression paths for some of the mounts that have not been updated in a relatively long time. I would love to participate in such discussions if they should be requested. I know the Ferrica is a mount used in the game, along with a few others, such as the shadow bears of Odraxxia. I hope PA continues introducing new and unique concepts to the game, enriching the RPG aspects of past and future features. These optional side goals impact the gameplay experience minimally, but they lend themselves immensely to adding immersion and life to Black Desert.

I took some time to think, and with the advent of the first horse treasure, which is unlocked by having three T10 horses, PA could potentially do something similar for life skills sometime soon. For this reason, I further emphasize that players wanting this content should pursue their dreams accordingly. In the meantime, I am thankful for any support granted to the Donkuanatt.

In my opinion adding Donkuanatt now should be more fine than ever, T9 are very common right now, especially with PA giving out a free one very recently.

I've been thinking a lot about giving buffs to the donkey for shai and I think I prefer this unless PA is willing to own up to shai as a proper combat class rather than the lifeskill class they like to claim she's good at (she's not really great). While yes, Shai is indeed quite good and often times OP in PvE, and her buffs bring all the guild to the yard (in pvp), her "talent" is holding her back and I think that if PA is adament about keeping her "unique" then giving the donkuanatt special "packed mule" perks seems a reasonable compromise. At least then, donkuanatt won't just be a reskin but have practical use in the field and would help balance out shai. It's a double whammy of if they can pull it off right. Maybe this might also require a skill where those excess skill points could be used, I don't know but it's fun to pitch these things and see where it leads even if they don't immediately make completely sense. You never know, someone might say "aha- I have a great alternative idea" because of that. So feel free to pitch your ideas, at the end of the day PA will make the decisions and implement something that (hopefully) makes a lot of sense.

I would be happy if the Donkuanatt supplemented horses as a valid Shai-appropriate alternative to other T9 mounts. That said, if PA wanted to create a set of life-skill-focused mounts and include the Donkuanatt as part of this set, similar to horses T10, and granted these life-skill mounts special perks as a result, then I'd 100% be in support of granting such mounts unique bonuses. 

I will push back on the idea that something is wrong with introducing new mounts to the game without giving them new and unique skills. It is my belief that people will find joy in their mounts as long as they can be used for a wide range of general activities without causing issues with their guild, PvE, or PVP. Not everything has to have some kind of special unique trait that makes it the best at x, y, or z. However, when such features are well designed and implemented, such as with T10 horses, they can enhance the investment players have in their mounts. Thus if done well then I could very much support such content whole-heartedly. To be honest, the mounts in the game could use some variety. Some examples are Ferricas, baby elephants, camels, and more. 

Where's Donkuanatt PA

Finaly after almost one year, they check this Idea. Just realized it, by clicking accidentaly on feedback status. And if that is to much effort or would take to long, than at least maybe a nice outfit with wings and speed up, can do it for the start.

As the Shai fellowship was travelling through Roud Sulfur Mines on our way to Gavinya Volcano to raw tap an Ominous Ring to PEN..

Pippin, may have, perhaps, made some noise and alerted a nearby berserker named Balrogg who thought we were invading their spot. 

Balrogg demanded DFS and our friend the wizard who had tagged along accepted- as he knew that Shai class damage modifiers were trash.

It turned out that Balrogg was a bit of a gearlet despite his flashy outfit, and our wizard won... but only barely. In his last moments, the wizard we knew simply as Grey of the Gandalf family, demanded that our Donkeys awaken their mythical powers to assist us on our journey

at least, Im pretty sure thats what he meant.

Can't wait til Witch gets her own mount.  And Warrior.  And Zerker.   And Nova.   And Mystic.
