if you dont want to fight.. stay lv 49 its that simple
life skills are getting an agriss buff soon
so lv 49 and agriss u good

As nice as this would be, it's unfortunate that it's not possible. You have to meet  certain level requirements for certain lifeksills and lifeskilling efficiently requires you to quickly get from point A to point B which also requires level 50+ skills. ie: Shai skateboarding I think is level 54 or something. Bartering requires level 50+ and you either pick a bartering ship or a combat ship. Obviously if you pick a bartering ship to barter you will be weak against a combat ship. This isn't EVE or Star citizen where you can just hire mercs as protection for the day you semi-afk bartering. There are players who actively go find barterers specfically to sink them. There's no good PvP mechanic to this as you're at the mercy of the attacker in your trade ship and once you do die, you lose everything. =/

However, I'm more interested in seeing what RIOT Games releases as their MMORPG. It might be a healthy competition between RIOT, Crimson Desert and FFXIV. Sorry but ESO is almost dead, GW2 isn't gaining back its momentum despite their hardest attempts and Tera 2 dev seemingly doesn't exist. There are other MMORPGs in the works but the top 3 will likely be Crimson, whatever RIOT releases and FFXIV.

Different strokes for different folks.  I am less interested in a game's population than I am it's quality, meaningfulness, and long-term play, least when it comes to MMORPG's.  Crimson Desert isn't planned to be a true MMORPG (though it may change, we don't know) and Riot's MMO hasn't been revealed at all yet.  No actual info on it yet, but I have a hunch how it'll be, being how Riot is helbent on pop-culture and mass-appeal.  So even if a game sucks in comparison to similar games -- ahem, Valorant -- Riot has a way of making it profitable, which, kudos to them.  But I am more interested in games of a different flavor.  And that's Sandbox, or Sandbox-oriented MMO's.

I am interested in Intrepid's new MMO.  I've been a backer since the very beginning of Kickstarter and have been keeping up with it and puffing a moderate dose of copium for AoC.  But from what they've shown, it's honestly shaping up to be the premiere "Sand-park" MMO, closer to the kind of game BDO is compared the the full-on Themepark MMO's you mentioned.  Riot's MMO will be -- 100% guaranteed -- a Themepark MMO.

And to that.  No thanks.  Gross.

And this is why there's only like 15,000 players at peak hours now while PvE focused games have 40,000+. Telling people their opinion / feedback is wrong so go play another game is a shitty attitude to have. Just because you hate people and want to forcefully engage in PvP against defenseless lifeskillers doesn't mean everyone wants to. I think a lifeskill only server is a fantastic idea. They have Arsha, now give lifeskillers their own server.

It's been said over and over in multiple other posts. It will never happen! PVE/Life Skillers will have to accept that there will be PVP elements and killing and WAR. Whether you like it or not. AKA getting ganked, killed, pkd and etc. You name it. It revolves around PVP.

Train your horses? Stay in the city! Gathering and getting killed? Swap server.... getting ganked? Join a guild. Get protection.

Don't like it? Look for another game....

PVX = PVPVE but most of the players don't want to be part of this hence, PVP side wants to run the way they wanted. Fair enough. Have at it. I think its best to make it pure PVP.

I am not going to repeat myself.

Incorrect, BDO is a PvX game. I also counter argue full pvp players who want the PvE scene removed. As i have stated multiple times, the games PvX not pure pve and not pure pvp , its both an should stay that way.

The games niche an killing off its main attraction is the biggest way to kill the game.

Arsha is still PvX it just doesnt punish people who pvp.

OP mentioned leaving bartering out of the proposition.

As for this idea, I don't really care if they implement it, honestly.  The only thing I would be concerned about is how this proposition would split / separate / isolate the playerbase more than it already has been.

With the introduciton of Marni's Realm, Home Channels, many viable grind zones, even AoS and dungeons, it seems to me that players are more spread out and experience less and less interaction between each other as time goes on.  While things like Marni's Realm, more viable grind spots, etc. are "good things".....it just seems like there's a side-effect to it, being players being more and more isolated from each other and thus, having less and less meaningful interactions between one another in the open world.  And that, to me, is a bad thing.  Always something beyond the surface and it seems like surface details are all what most people see.  (IE: Yes, let's make more viable grind zones!  [Which is good, on the surface, but then, players dont' interact with others as much and the game becomes even more solo-experience than it already is]).  So I am not sure abot pure lifeskill server.  Yes, on the surface, it seems good....but what are we missing here?

Exactly this.  Arsha is not a "PVP server".  People go on it to PVE, actually, since they get higher drop rate.  The only difference is no Karma loss via PVP.  It's a PVX server, like the others, just with Karma penalty disabled.

Many players still see it as "PVP" zone (PVP with the brackets). A lot of players avoid them, get it? Some do go there to life skill and grind because of buffs they give. But still crazy and stupid in my opinion.

(Laugh) Arsha is not a PVP server? What a joke. Then PA should change the name to something else.

Oo?

You can totally barter with a level 49 char and stay protected.

About the 15k at peak time I read in the previous page, don't forget that this number is on Steam NA/EU alone. You have to add players from other countries, and non-steam NA/EU players.

If you die and lose everything. It's part of the game. Deal with it.
